No wonder Democrats like to raise taxes. They don’t pay them.

If the Sec of the Treasury can be a tax cheat, then they all can be tax cheats.

Just the Wall Street Journal? Where is the NYT, WaPo, LAT, ABC, CBS, NBC, et al?
Oh, it's a Democrat. Sorry, my mistake. No coverage will be provided by the in-the-tank-media on things like this.
Move along . . .

When the guy gets into trouble like this, we need to remember that;
“You should always refer to Mister Obama’s plan as “the trillion-dollar DEBACLE.”
Dash-hole will surely come out smelling like a rose...he’s a Dem and they have so lowered the bar...Ted Kennedy can kill a girl, this is nothing...that it all looks like up no matter how low it really is...

And he never would have paid it had he not been nominated. And it’s not like he doesn’t know what “imputed income” is. He was the majority leader for cryin’ out loud. Remember when there was a democrat tax proposal to impute income of our homes in the amount we could have rented our houses for if we hadn’t been living there?

Argh. this makes me so mad. What makes these rat-bast**ds think the rules don’t apply to THEM?? I’d like to go to his house, knock on his door, and poke him one right smack in the snoot.

He told committee staff he had grown used to having a car and driver as majority leader and did not think to report the perk on his taxes, according to staff members.

It would not make any difference, his fellow senators would vote for him. Corruption is a mile wide and ten miles deep in the US senate.

Daschle only paid this because of the position he wanted. He can pay or not pay whenever he chooses. Meanwhile the State of Missouri is still hounding me for 200 dollars I have proved I don’t owe them.

What’s the big deal? Don’t we all “forget” to pay $100,000 in taxes every once in awhile? Keep in mind, a Democrat’s main responsibility is to collect taxes, not pay them.

This is good theater. I kind of miss Tiny Tom after watching Nazi Pelosi’s botox soap operas. She reminds me of the aunt in Brazil. He reminds me of an evil leprechaun in Brigadoon.
