Go Steele. If not Blackwell - and its pretty obvious thats the way it is - then Steele.
Duncan has failed us too many times, we can’t afford that any longer.

Who’s Mike Duncan? I have to presume he’s “their” man, since he’s winning with no publicity
To: ReagansRaiders
They won’t learn it. We need Conservatives like Blackwell, not RINOs. But looking good for Steele. I prefer him to Duncan.

Will we know the answer today??? Thanks.

This could take a while. Nobody’s giving up just yet, but it doesn’t look promising for Duncan. Mind you, Steele isn’t running away with it either.

Did they take a break or did C-Span cut away?

Do they keep voting until someone gets 85 votes? Is there is a run off where the two candidates with most votes are on the ballot?

Who are Katon Dawson and Saul Anuzis? I'm not familiar with them. Which way would their supporters likely go if they had to choose between Duncan and Steele? Blackwell's would likely go for Steele in a two way race.

The thing is, we need a person who can present Republican ideas well in opposition to Obama.
Steele is that guy. If Duncan pulls it out, it is clear the GOP wants to lose again in two and four years.

Wow. I thought Blackwell was a favorite. Glad to see Steele doing well. So much for the handicappers.

Wonder if this will end up out in the parking lot!

I was wanting Blackwell but as a second choice Steel would do.
To: ReagansRaiders
Steele is a loser- so he’s well qualified to head the RNC...
Seriously, “loser” could fairly be put on any of these guys.
Blackwell at least has a record of fighting hard.
Let’s hope Steele doesn’t do eveny worse as Chairman of the national party than he did as chairman of Maryland’s.
