His office day, by the way, ends at 10 PM.So what you're saying, Diane, is that Barack Obama is avoiding spending time with his wife and children.

You know, any President lives with the pain of knowing that at 2:00pm, he could get the little tap to wake him followed by, “Mr. President, we have a problem.” W was just smart enough to plan ahead for it.

He reads several paper, eats breakfast with the family, sees his daughter off to school,

and He cuts down trees. He eats his lunch.
He goes to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he goes shopping
And has buttered scones for tea.

In the various Dilbertoriums where I've worked, there have always been guys who stayed late and worked long hours. Sometimes they were trying to fix whatever errors they made, and sometimes they were outright pretending. You could always tell that a manager was an airhead or worse if he would be impressed by such people.

This is so indicative of liberals. They don’t even understand what ‘hard work’ means in the context of an executive position. One good clean 20 min meeting with the right people addressing the right question is worth more than 500 Bill Clinton all night pizza and cigar ‘work’ parties or 1000 Obama ‘how can stack the deck for 2012’ meetings.

Being in IT, I've pulled my fair share of late nights and all-nighters. Also two-nighters, all weekenders, and a few all-weekers.
Anyone that thinks they're at their best at 10pm, after working a 12 or 14 hour day, is an idiot. It's one thing to work ridiculous hours if you need to, quite another to do it as a matter of course. As America's CinC, he needs to get some sleep.
Surprised that the Secret Service doesn't push this, at least on the down-low.

Obama is still trying to figure out how to swivel his desk chair and open the drawers on the desk. He is up till 10:00 pm every night because he is making little pastie notes of where the entrances and exits are. He has broken a few windows by walking through them in the first week.
