The advertising/marketing gurus at Omaha Steaks have the more interesting sense of humor.

Update from site:
“UPDATE: We’re now pretty sure Seakittens.com is a prank website, which puts the real PETA campaign (found here) in a frame below the Omaha Steaks ad.
An effective trick — we were taken in at first too.
We have a call in to PETA to confirm Seakittens.com isn’t owned by them. We did a WHOIS lookup, and seakittens.com is privately registered. — Eric Krangel”

Maybe the ad exec was dyslexic and thought it was “Obama Steaks.”

Looks like a crude but funny hoax of a website.

Looks to me like PETA forgot to secure “seakittens.com” before coming up with this campaign. Surprising that the young, computer-savvy “progressives” working for PETA could be so negligent.

It’s brilliant on the part of Omaha Steaks; every steak-eater I know has gone over to that site to laugh at PETA.

This is either a joke, they changed it, or it is just blatantly fake, just checked the seakitten site and it doesn’t even have a node there for a banner. Maybe the site hit it through an iframed site, either intentionally or not..

This could be a very funny type of joke to play on a lot of sites... iframe the whitehouse website with a ‘sponsored by the Communist Party USA’ banner.

Cartoon Network's nighttime Adult Swim had a humorous bit between commercials which stated that PETA's "seakitten" campaign just made them hungry to eat "land fish" which is what they are now calling cats.

They should blame PETA for the newest billfish bait, kittens-real kittens. I don’t know of anyone who has tried this method, nor do I condone it.
