"Progressive" San Francisco's murder rate and dismal unsolved murders gets international attention

San Francisco’s much maligned homicide clearance rate is in the spotlight as the French government has stepped into a cold case murder occurring in the city two years ago.

The inquiry comes on the heels of the “unusual” case of a Jewish activist who managed to fall through to his death via a disabled elevator shaft.

San Francisco’s 800 plus unsolved murders rate ranks as one of the highest in the nation.

The crime rate in progressive San Francisco is now an international embarrassment - The French government has had to step in to solve the case of French citizen who the local police said committed suicide... but no weapon has been found. San Francisco just cut the number of homicide investigators due to budget cuts.. brillant!

I believe it is “judgmental” and “hateful” to actually blame someone for a murder.

Sow....Reap.

The other day the Austrian guy who's the UN's torture guy called our attention to the various UN statements on what torture is about and who gets it and who doesn't.

Anyway, getting beyond his bizarre beliefs about panties on heads and so on, I looked up several things he'd written that are elsewhere on the net.

One of those was a discussion of what a nationstate must do regarding private individuals who undertake to torture people. It turns out the Head of State and other government officials, et al (e.g. Cabinet members, Representatives, Senators, Governors, Mayors ~ even mayors and city council members of San Francisco) can be held accountable in international tribunals for such things.

No doubt murder is "torture" by anyone's definition, and there you have 800 unsolved murders in San Francisco and apparantly no one wants to solve them or do anything to prevent more of them.

Just adding up the numbers here we got Newsome (the mayor), Pelosi (the Congress critter), Boxer and Feinstein (Senators), Schwarzenegger (Governor) and Obama (President) who can logically be held accountable for this sad state of affairs and handed over to an international tribunal for trial.

I say GO FOR IT!@

The crime rate in progressive San Francisco is now an international embarrassment

You ought to see other major cities in other states. Most major cities in other states make San Francisco look safe.

Here is one mid-western city for example.

Kansas City and San Francisco Comparative Crime Ratios per 100,000 People

Latest 2006 Crimes per 100,000 People:

Kansas City, MO San Francisco, CA National
Murder: 25 11.5 7
Forcible Rape: 71.62 20.64 32.2
Robbery: 456 517.1 205.8
Aggravated Assault: 891.1 326.4 336.5
Burglary: 1650.8 866.5 813.2
Larceny Theft: 4057.4 3202.2 2601.7

I'm familiar with these stats.

Point is SF, which used to be comparatively crime free, is trending in the wrong direction under the clowns currently in charge.

This is what happens when the liberals make the police department a subject for social experimentation and then totally handcuff it with political correctness. Just watch what Obama and company is going to do to the military!

There is no mystery in that case.

The murdered guy was Jewish and he was going to Arabic classes taught by muslims, at one of which he was pushed down an elevator.

The only question is: which if the savages did it?

When the SF mayor puts out ‘public service’ announcements that they welcome ALL illegal aliens and refuses to let LEO’s even question the gangbangers....extreme crime is what you get.

You ought to see major cities like St. Louis...It makes San Francisco look like a walk through a church picnic on a clear spring day.
