Here we go.
7 dems nay...no r yeas....yet.
We need to thank the 11 dems. who voted against this bill.
No Repubies voted yea!
Are they voting on the bill right now?
177 to 178 I think
Amazing no Republicans broke. Not even John Wica of Florida’s 7th.
Already done and passed
So let’s see what the Senate does.
sorry, looking at only one side of the isle
It’s on to the Senate! They can stop it unless someone caves. We better give them hell if they do it. We have the chance to improve this thing if no RINOs blow it.
If by improvement you mean that they only keep the tax cuts OK. Otherwise lets KILL this thing (wishful thinking). McCain will probably lead the charge to pass it.
You know what they'll do.
I knew someone would criticize the ‘improvement’ comment. lol
I know I’m breaking from perfect ideology and principle but let’s be realistic about what we can do. We can filibuster but can’t actually change the bill much structurally and eventually a RINO will screw us.
If the Senate GOP will go on a tirade about pork and even filibuster until a deal is struck to limit some spending and strip some of the waste in there- its a victory in one sense.
Obviously I don’t want it passed at all but I’m resigned right now to fighting as long as we can for concessions and then making them pass it themselves.
As someone just noted on the floor of the house the only thing bipartisan about this bill was the Nay votes.
I’d also add: Call for your senators every day and tell them to vote no!
Am watching CSPAN now and unless I’m dreaming or heavily medicated, it looks like every Rep voted against it. Can it possibly be that they finally grew a spine and heard their constituents?
And does anyone else want to wipe that damned smirk off Pelosi’s botoxed, shrink wrapped face?
Interesting, I was told by the flunkie that answered the phone, ‘I cannot give out that information.’
Lamar Smith used to be my Congressman when we lived in TX. He had the most responsive office I have ever been around.

If you open up a checking account at the “bad bank”, will your new checks be coated with itching powder?;))
