Democrats Launch Petition Against Rush Limbaugh Tuesday, January 27, 2009 By Melanie Hunter-Omar
(CNSNews.com) – The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail.
The petition includes a 19-second sound byte of Limbaugh, saying, “If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to this guy, say ‘okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’”
Meanwhile, Obama advised Republicans last Friday to stop listening to Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the administration.
“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” Obama said to Republican leaders who met with the president to talk about the stimulus package.
The Republican National Committee did not return calls requesting comment.
They may have taken it off, when I pull up the web site nothing comes up.
Rush may have given them a call...lololololol
He will sure have a hay day with this one.
The Dems only believe in free speech if you say what they want to hear.

1) There WERE no Conservatives in the realistic pool and O.C. actually worked pretty well, just with unintended consequences;
2) He is an entertainer and doesn't pretend to be anything else;
3) He asks Conservatives to hew to Conservative principles. The fact they won't isn't on him.

You Demos can dish it out but you sure can’t take it, can you. We love Rush. You whiney ass babies. Now you Demos are trying to fix the constitution to where you can shut him up. There is a thing called FREE SPEACH, or will the BIG ZERO, write an executive order to get rid of that too.
Online petitions are worthless - except for fundraising. Learn it, love it....and don’t forward any to me from conservative groups either.
Be pretty tough for them to use an executive order to violate the 1st amendment. Being Rush is a cash cow for the brocast stations, they would have to join the fight to support him. I’d love to see Rush invite on his show some of the prominent liberals talking heads to challenge him in the name of the fairness doctrine. Problem is none of them have the balls to to do it.
