Democrats Launch Petition Against Rush Limbaugh Tuesday, January 27, 2009 By Melanie Hunter-Omar
(CNSNews.com) The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail.
The petition includes a 19-second sound byte of Limbaugh, saying, If I wanted Obama to succeed, Id be happy the Republicans have laid down. I dont want this to work. So Im thinking of replying to this guy, say okay, Ill send you a response, but I dont need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.
Meanwhile, Obama advised Republicans last Friday to stop listening to Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the administration.
You cant just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done, Obama said to Republican leaders who met with the president to talk about the stimulus package.
The Republican National Committee did not return calls requesting comment.

I have a petition that states Megan Fox needs to come to my house every other night and leave 3 hours later - I need your support

Rush has freedom of speech. Democrats want to take away freedom of speech. They badmouthed Bush for 8 years. Now, they do not want anyone to question their King Obama?

Yes, and all of the “Go Bush” rhetoric was very evident in the fair and just media for 8 years.
The Democrats hate criticism. I pointed out to a Liberal that Kennedy keeps the family trust in Fiji all while espousing high taxes and she just couldn’t handle that, saying “It’s on both sides...they’re all crooked”
The Marxist Messiah is the most crooked President next to Bubba Clintoon, and the Media refuses to report the truth.

Wait one minute!!!
Hold one!!!
Un momento carajo!!!
This means Democrats are spending all their time listening to Rush too!!!
To: Sub-Driver
Rush should counter by pushing for the removal of Nancy and Harry from their failed leadership positions. They are some of the main reasons of the bitter partisanship that exists in congress.

It seems we are getting a glimpse into the mind of the left. Bush Derangement Syndrome is quickly becoming Rush Derangement Syndrome. The morons only need to change one letter..."it's all Rush's fault."

Have any of you gotten an auto call today requesting you to call your congressman to support Obamas stimulus plan? It went on to say press 1 on your phone and you will be directed to your congressman. My wife took the call when I was out and told me she hung up when they told her to press 1. This REALLY happened. I’m a registered Republican. Seems like they are doing this shotgun style. Is this legal? Any others getting these auto phone calls?

I want Obama to fail, too.
He’s a socialist and a slimeball. Not wanting him to succeed in his goals is the only option open to patriotic Americans.
Go ahead, sign a petition against me too.

Until last Tuesday, I would joke about this too, but honestly, this is frightening. I believe we should take this seriously. I know on-line petitions don't do too much, but the Democrats now control everything. Executive Orders can be given in the blink of an eye.
To tell you the truth....I'm scared.
To: Sub-Driver
You cant just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done, If "getting things done" means killing millions more babies, coddling terrorists, paying homage to the homo agenda, and more restrictions on RKBA, then I say let's sit on our hands. Let's force MAJOR gridlock in government.

That is the most damning and depressing piece of data in the article..
I agree! Time to call a few Republicans and tell them to come up with a statement. He has their back, time for them to have his.

I DO think the zero's ginormous list of cel numbers can and will be used to maintain an attitude of distrust and perhaps even violent anger.
Remember, my word for this cycle is "emboldened", and I truly believe more and more will manifest itself simply because some (or many) are ... emboldened.
I can remember soft arguments with co-workers about Rush, but I think those arguments would now be more than academic.
I'll eat my tin foil hat if I'm wrong.

What Rush actually said was ‘I support my President but I want his policies to fail’ (paraphrased). He said it in the same spirit as those on the Left who say ‘I support the troops but I don’t support the war (or their mission).
I think that's a great comparison. I plan on using that when one of my libtard co-workers asks me if I support their hero.
I've responded to that question before with sarcasm: "Yeah, I really want Obama to succeed in destroying our currency with his pork-laden redistribution...ahem, stimulus...bill".
