The media fawning over Obama never ends. The latest tingly feeling they are getting is over his orders for openness.
The day after inauguration, The Associated Press ran an article with the headline “Advocates Praise Obama Move on Disclosure.” The lead was, “Government watchdogs are cheering President Barack Obama's move to change how open records laws are interpreted as a sign of greater disclosure of agency information than during the Bush administration.”
The article explains, “In the late 1970s, Carter's attorney general, Griffin Bell, issued guidance to err on the side of releasing information. Under Reagan, William French Smith came in and reversed that; he told them, ‘when in doubt withhold.’ Then under Clinton, Janet Reno reversed it again; she told agencies their presumption should be for release.”
Is that so? I don’t remember the Clinton administration’s openness that way at all; in fact, I am still waiting for documents to come back from Freedom of Information Act requests that I filed as a journalist back in 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998.

This article had nothing to do with the birth certificate issue. How about those who are anti-birther not muddying up the article with their keywords? Obama has been exceedingly secretive and none of his records are available. None.

Obama is another lousy Jimmy Carter. Hiding in the White House while terrorists harass our citizens! Too secretive, and making all the wrong moves. I see his spokespeople always saying “no comment” or “nothing further to say on that” when questions are thrown Obama’s way. Why the secrecy? Where’s the openness that was promised?
When you have dumbed down the population and control the media, you can lie about the present and reinvent the past at will and without consequences.

I totally agree!!! It makes me want to puke whenever I see the obuckabooma's ugly mug or his ugly wife's face on covers of magazines or newspapers. I pick up the magazine or newspaper, then return it face down and proceed with my purchase!!! :-)

1. Question: How did Pelosi know that the above statement was correct?
2. As I see it, the only way she could know that the statement was correct, especially when it came to candidate Obama, is if she personally examined Obama's long form Hawaii birth certificate---the one with the names of the doctor and birth hospital on it.
3. I say Pelosi has a problem, because I don't believe that she ever saw Obama's long form Hawaii birth certificate, the one with the names of the the doctor and birth hospital names on it.
4. I hope Congresswoman Pelosi sues me, because then she would have to explain publicly how she found out that Obama was "legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution".

And I hope Congresswoman Pelosi doesn't think that she can merely say that she saw Obama's birth certificate on the internet, or that she took the word of Hawaii officials who told her that they personally saw Obama's birth certificate and that the birth certificate stated that Obama was born in Hawaii.
6. Why doesn't a reporter or federal or state officials have Congresswoman Pelosi publicly explain how she knew that Obama was "legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution"?
7. The Hawaii document also states: "Subscribed and sworn to before me in the City and County of Denver, State of Colorado..." It was signed on August 28, 2008.
8. Another question: If Congresswoman Pelosi did not have concrete evidence that Obama was "legally qualified", did Congresswoman Pelosi break the law by swearing under oath to something that she knew was a lie?
9. Shouldn't Congresswoman Pelosi be investigated for possibly lying under oath when she signed and swore under oath that Obama "was legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution"?

I agree with all of your points. Pelosi’s arrogance is as breath taking as the Usurper’s. At every turn, there are examples where elected officials have blatantly lied to the American people. It is an obvious disrespect for each citizen and our beloved country.
Thr truth is stronger than everything else. The truth will reveal itself. My prayer is more Americans take note of all the double talk and lies before too much time has past.
I think the average citizen cares more about America than many in Congress and in this current fraudulent administration.
Actions have always spoken louder than words to me. What Obama did last Friday evening speaks volumes about who he is...Obama will agressively with our tax dollars make abortion more accessible here and in other countries. Look at the timing. He wants to hide the truth from the American people. Has the Press asked him anything about his Abortion Executive Order? No. Many people don’t know.
He spoke to the Muslim world last night on Saudi Arabia TV. Do we know what he said? Do our soldiers know what he said? I read a translation and I am sure the soldiers who are fighting over there saw it too. I wonder when he will address the US soldiers to give them some “comfort”? It will not occur to him.
This usurper fraud is more concerned about getting the Islamic world to like us. What does that say? It speaks volumes on his true priorities? He is using this office, our White House, for his own gain? He doesn’t care about the vulnerable in our country. I hope the Islamic world knows he is using them too!!!!!
I wish the media would call him on it at every step. My disgust and repulsion is beyond words.
The media complains about Jessie Simpson getting too fat, and does not tell the truth about Michelle. I do not mean to criticize the Michelle, only to say if the media keeps
on lying, soon the Media will start believing that too.
