I had a very liberal friend tell me that if I thought that Medicare was the first step to universal health care then I should stop using it and start paying my own way. The stupidity of this statement is mind blowing. The government takes my money, has taken my money for future health insurance, changes me each month for the policy and he says, pay but don’t use. Do these people run in packs or is it a symbol of mental illness?

It’s a decent starting point. I’ll negotiate with you all the way down if you like. LOL

We do need the military. We do need a diplomatic core. Let’s see, what am I forgetting.

He kept screaming “Lesbisn” while his face turned red and the veins in his neck filled. Yep he lost it.

By law you can not buy full health insurance after 65. You are forced to take Medicare. You can buy a suppliment (and AARP would love to have your money) or pay cash. They are you coming and going.

Government slavery is a major moral divide. Dependency upon government handouts is no different than plantation slavery. It is worse. It does not even exchange food and shelter for labor. It demeans and dispirits. It chains the recipient to a system that is inescapable.

I read a great quote today from a young Czechoslovakian who lived under the System:

"Communism taught us not to dream"

Crap, he is back? I thought he was done for when he went into his rant several years ago.
