We have discussed both on the dose and privately via freepmail as to what we may do in the future of the dose.
It is suggested that a thread is posted where anyone can post photos or news of George W Bush and if you so wish any other member of his administration as to what they are doing or hope to do in the future and the idea is that this thread will cover January 2009 news and photos as well as being a recap of the last few days of the George W Bush Presidency plus events that took place a few hours afterwards in Texas and for the Vice President in Wyoming.
Enjoy the ongoing Sanity Island for January 2009
Sorry to come across the news that Your Dad has had a health setback...Prayers ongoing.
It was great to ‘see’ the President and Laura ‘in public’ again last night; the ENTHUSIASTIC feedback they received from REAL America was an added bonus!

ENJOY!
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your father!
Prayers will continue for your dad and for you. Take care.
I signed up at the GWB library site. I'm definitely interested in the DVD and book too.
I think the ‘new’ DOSE could be almost as fun as the old — same subject(s); slightly different focus! [I for one plan to get as involved as I can in the President’s Freedom Institute: “The Charge to Keep Continues”!]
Thanks very much! As always.
Thanks for all the great links, Deb!
Just shows you.....our guy is just as happy here at home
as he was rubbing elbows with all the do-ers and shakers
in Washington.
Probably happier! He is L O V E D here!
Here is another video of the President’s visit to the Baylor game (AP video — shows second ovation):

Then there was the video of the “dressing down” of the White
House under the new people. (which I didn’t watch! Ugh!)
They have no respect....unlike OUR President, who always dressed
to show respect for the office and the place!
i missed something, what are you talking about?
When I was watching the video linked on post #249 by Dr. Deb, there was another on the sidebar talking about how the new administration is not wearing suit coats in the oval office and other places in the White House.
President Bush insisted on suits...to show respect for the place.
Does that help? :D
Oh, turning down the thermostat is only for us peons! Donchaknow?
Sheesh! What a diva that PERSON is!
That show was very well done. We enjoyed it immensely! It must have been a crew from a few years ago, though, because the lead pilot was a man. In the last year, the pilot was a woman, who was almost as tall as the President!
Thank you, Dr. Deb. This calms the blood pressure after it spiking this afternoon reading about the new occupant of the White House.
I’ll put your Dad back on the Active Prayers list in our Parish.
LOL! Loved that video of Poppy!
Ping ! - To read later !
(thanks DrDeb!)
:)
Thank you so much it has been a tough couple of weeks, my feelings are now he was not quite ready for release and maybe we were not quite not organized at home especially as the lady who helps me around the house was off sick.
