Chirac was no only mauled by a poodle, but a “depressed” poodle.

After many years of less extreme exposure to Chirac, I’, sure that Sumo has many sympathizers here on FR.

My only question is did they give the dog a rabbies shot after biting that insane ass clown?

Just askin, I’m much more concerned about the dogs welfare, than this idiots welfare.

"...his own 'clinically depressed' pet dog."

Didn't Mrs. Drysdale take her dog Claude to an analyst when he was depressed?

Actually standard Poodles were bread to hunt and attack lions, this toy poodle went after the other lion of the left!

Doesn’t surprise me.

For about 10 years, in the 1980s, it was illegal to import Pit Bulls in UK, so breeders smuggled them in from the continent, as it happens mostly from France.

The result was that by the 1990s, when pit bulls were again legalized, British peoples were not only vicious, but rude. :^)

“Swamp rabbit” ( I call it “killer rabbit” as did Carter) would of been even funnier, if it had been Carter’s pet

No they weren't.

They were originally bred as water retrievers in Germany and the Low Countries. No lions there. Their name means "Puddle".

You'll still occasionally see one at a hunt test for retrievers, but with a couple hundred years of show breeding, they're not all that good at it. Your average Plain Old Black Lab can retrieve rings around a Standard Poodle.
