Dittos on the video. I don’t want to take anybody’s word on it, and I don’t like the idea of a president who hasn’t taken the oath properly (even though I doubt it will make any difference in what he does).
I wonder if he was trying to get away with not really taking the oath.

Not so fast. Magna traditionally goes to the Top 10% of the class, but there is no Gore-like controlling legal authority that forces Harvard Law School to make it so. HLS could bestow Magna on whomsoever they particular shine to. We don't know where Obama graduated exactly in the class at HLS on the basis of grades. Was it 25 out of 280? As we don't know where he was exactly in the Top 10%, neither do we know if he was in the Top 10%.
He got into HLS on AA, onto the Law Review possibly on AA, and was made President of the HLR on AA. For all we know, Obama's Magna was recognition of him being President of the HLR. It would have looked funny to have the President of the HLR not be Magna.
This I think is a lot more likely than Obama having the genius intellect to be Magna at HLS. If Obama had such intellect he would have had terrific LSAT's. If he had, we would have heard about them, but haven't. He would have graduated with some Honors from Columbia. He didn't. If he had terrific LSAT's he would have had great SAT's. We haven't heard about these either. If he had terrific SAT's he would have gotten into a college more illustrious (especially as an African American) than Occidental, just out of Prep school. He didn't.
Obama Magna at HLS is either the world's biggest example of a late bloomer, or was a social Magna, bestowed on Obama because he the was the HLS faculty pet.

It should, the Constitution requires "Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:". But they probably won't bother, and it really wouldn't matter, how hard can it be and how long can it take to reissue the orders?
Doesn't really matter, the Constitution only requires that the oath be taken. It could just stand and recite it, with only a witness.
I’m sure the point has been made, but the article I read said he retook the oath out of an abundance of caution... is this the same caution he used when deciding not to release a birth certificate?

Actually I think he only has to have a witness to him reciting it. The prompting was so he got it right.....I was just being a SA.
This is going to be a historical footnote and a great trivial pursuit game several years from now, although the question will probably be in Chinese. "What administration was so incompetent that the President actually screwed up his oath of office in such a way as that the Vice President was technically President for day until the Present retook the oath?"

There are loads of video. Many with the fumble intact. So if you can avoid eating something prior, you can check them out.
