Obama Administration Moves to Halt Guantanamo Trials

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba -- Military judges on Wednesday will consider motions by the Obama administration to suspend the Guantanamo war crimes trials for 120 days during a review of the system for prosecuting suspected terrorists.

The motions, filed late Tuesday at the direction of President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, will be heard in the cases of five men charged in the Sept. 11 attacks and of Canadian Omar Khadr, who is accused of killing an American soldier with a grenade in Afghanistan in 2002....

I plan NOT to visit ANY high profile place in America over the next four years. Washington, DC, NY City, any big city down town, big time American land mark. All these are going to be targets for the Izzlumic murderers for a terrorist attack. We are going to weaken ourselves badly. The CIA will continue on its road to ineptness and the FBI will be on holiday and not see it coming. Hell the CIA missed the fall of the Soviet Union. Notice that he’s sharing this order with Gates...EXCEPT...it’s Obama’s decision was planned well before Gates said he would stay. I’m betting that Gates doesn’t believe in this.

I am not nearly so pessemistic. we will endure this, I think Obama is likely already a more mature person than Clinton was, and I sincerely hope that Obama is able to grow in the position. This is a sop to his moonbat supporters and it is only a delay, not a final resolution.

I doubt that he wants to make these 6 out as anything other than cold-blooded murdering terrorists...
