Depends on your definition of success and failure.
I hope he fails utterly in his efforts to promote socialism in the US. I hope he fails to screw things up. I hope the US succeeds in prospering despite him.
I will give him that he is extremely intelligent and can make good points and debate well (even though he tends to cut his callers off, has a patronizing attitude, and usually debates the most ill-informed callers). However, his support for open borders and early cheerleading for McCain and various other positions leads me to believe he cannot be trusted as a conservative voice and has a contrary hidden agenda.
If you don't want him to fail then you want him to succeed? That would mean more government and more taxes than anyone can even imagine.
Hell yes, I hope he fails!
Fortunately, he's hopelessly over his pay grade and he's chosen incompetents and fools to help him. Failure is as close to being a certainty as it can be.
At that point in the game I was too!The alternative was to be either an Obama supporter or third party dingbat.
He did not support McCain before the primaries....same with me.
Where I am, his show is the only conservative broadcast I can pick up at that hour so I know quite well when his began supporting McCain. I was in his 'captive' audience and was there for every show.

2. Birth certificate? As in “who cares where he was born, let’s move on”?
Medved just cares about popularity and income, like most other “conservative” “celebrities”.
How does he become a one-term president unless he fails? That kind of success (marxism, among other things) is exactly the opposite of what this country needs, so yes, I hope and pray his first term is a failure and therefore his last term.

I believe Medved was a McCain supporter during the primary process. His perspective is not truly conservative, but neither is he liberal. I enjoy his frequent guests and learn much from them.
Michael Medved is a serious conservative.
The real clowns are those who cling bitterly to their conspiracy theories and give true conservatives a bad name. We are not going to defeat Obama by reversing roles with the DailyKos kiddies. We are going to defeat him by pointing out his failures.
Ergo, give him a chance to fail. He has not been inaugurated yet. Be patient and vigilant.
If we play nice like Medved suggests, we play right into the Left's hands. IMHO, he is no warrior, culture or otherwise. I say, "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!" If we don't fight, we are all dead.
BTW FReepers, Obummer had Pete Seeger as a headliner at the concert last night. Seeger is an unrepentant Stalinist. This traitorous old bastard supported a vicious tyrant who butchered at least 15 million of his own people. He is the poster boy for the banality of evil... the evil that controls Obummer and now infects our land.

So I pray for the nation. Whether Obama becomes part of that prayer is up to Obama.
I agree! How can any conservative want a man who thinks redistribution of wealth, murder of babies both in and out of the womb, are good things, and by all his own actions and words is a black racist, to succeed?
And I am over the right “rising above” the level of the left. We don’t necessarily have to spew the blind hatred that they did, but we have got to learn that the left always mistakes our “kindness” for weakness, and uses it against us. When the stakes are what they are, like now, is not the time to show how much “above it all” we are. When we let their lies pass, when we don’t answer their false statements, they present it as being because they’re right and unanswerable. Politics are not for the fastidious. We don’t have to use their language, but we do have to reply with the strength of our convictions and the truth, and when they try to talk over us and use up the time, stop politely sitting there, afraid to interrupt and shout them down in return.
