The House of Representatives has passed an expanded version of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), and made it easier for illegal aliens to access the program's benefits.
HR 2, the new version of SCHIP, weakens verification requirements. Those who enroll will be required to show only an easily forged Social Security card -- not secure documents proving U.S. citizenship. The legislation also extends benefits to non-citizen children of legal immigrants.
The SCHIP bill is designed to provide health coverage to low-income children, a laudable

The use of the Social Security Verification System must be included in this bell for it to pass! http://www-socialsecurityonline.com/?gclid=CMClsfjTm5gCFRBbagodAzaamA
The “wetbacks” won’t get anywhere near this as trying to present a phony SS# may invite an investigation!
Four Ohio GOP reps voted for this bill: Turner, Tiberi, Austria and LaTourette.
The House of Representatives has are cheap and easy when it comes to bribes.
Additionally, the current program has a 5 year waiting period for newly naturalized Americans. This bill strips that requirements. If that isn’t bad enough, a household making as much as $80K per year can qualify for this program.
If LaTourette voted for it .....there is something we don’t know. He is as conservative and as unswayable (sp?)as they come.
LOL what do you expect... The Rats own the plantation.... hard working Americans that believe in personal responsibility are being relabled as “small thinking ideologues filled with prejudice and bigotry’
So just shut up and color.... Obama and the Rats are running the ship.....
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve forwarded e-mails. Hope many others will follow suit!! The more that speak up, the more impact we will have. Time to rouse the troops!!!
Absolutely NOT. This should NOT pass at all.
I once had to get at picture ID made for child to be able to take the SAT in 7th grade for a gifted program. I had the birth certificate and the SS number but not the card. They would not accept this. I then produced within a half-hour after a trip to my accountant’s office a tax record bearing the names of all of our children (including this one) with their SS numbers showing they were still living in the county of birth and with both biological parents and had the same “mama and daddy” and same last name as the mama and daddy. This is really beating the odds in our small town and county. They still would not accept this! They later accepted a school transcript for my child to get his picture ID. I was so frustrated as I was not even applying for any monetary benefits, right to drive nor to vote! FF to 2009. Grr!!!
Your defeatist attitude accomplishes nothing. I’m glad the the patriots fighting in the American Revolutionary War didn’t feel as you do. If they had we would never been freed from English rule.
While I agree that is a good place to start, I still want the entire proposal scrapped, and I say that as someone whose child is legitimately eligible for the program.
Besides, in a few months, you will either have to prove you have health care provided at work, or you will be FORCED at gun point to pay the new "free" health care for all, tax.
Hope and change,,, live it, love it/s
Tell me the last time you heard of an illegal paying their hospital bill????
With all due respect, if the patriots fighting the Revolutionary War wasted time contacting Parliament for redress of grievances, instead of stocking up guns and ammo and preparing for the obviously inevitable, we'd be watching Colonial BBC.
The Government Class won't listen. They fully intend to place the Tree of Liberty into a drought-induced death spiral. Better to prepare one's irrigation facilities.
Dems need this to pander to their base, illegal aliens.
bttt
Yep! We’re punishing those RINO’s now...
