This is the fourth and final part of the 2008 review and as was true for parts one and two and three the following photos may not necessarily be the best photos or the most important but they are chosen because they appeal to me and hopefully to you as well. It maybe because of the content, the expression on the face(s) or just an unusual photo.
As I explained there are so many photos I have split this thread into 4 the first one being January - March, the second April - June, the third July - September, and this one the fourth and final part October - December 2008.
Links to the previous 3
A Year in the Life of President Bush (a lot of photos): Part 1 (Jan - Mar 2008)
A Year in the Life of President Bush (a lot of photos): Part 2 (April - June 2008)
A Year in the Life of President Bush (a lot of photos): Part 3 (July - September 2008)
As with the normal Day in the Life Thread I would request that photos are not posted until the all clear so that we have a chronology series of photos.
Enjoy your bonus visit to Sanity Island
LOL
I love your moniker here.
Are you by chance an avid Python fan like me, by any chance?
Thank you for your incredible work putting together such a
comprehensive thread about our wonderful President Bush!
I look forward to scrolling through the years. I am, of
course, late to the party!
God bless you and your Dad, Snugs! (((hugs)))
Those pictures make me wonder what color pallet will be
used in the Osama White House.

That last picture in Post #7 shows that Laura is just as great with kids as President Bush! I’ll be thrilled when they have some Grandkids to spoil rotten! ;o)
I’ve always loved the spontaneity of President Bush. He just always made it seem like he enjoyed being President, especially when interacting with younger folks. I remember the pictures when he’d preside over the graduations at the Service Academies. The young men and women were just so glad to see him, and he was never put off by their expressions of joy and relief at having graduated!
I love that picture of Laura and her guest in front of the fireplace in the residence of the White House. You can see their family stockings hanging from the mantel! I can’t see the names on the center ones, but I’m assuming they’re Jenna and Barbara’s, because two outer ones read Laura and George!
I hadn’t seen Laura’s portrait, before. I don’t think it looks like her very much. Something about the expression on her face, or something, I’m not sure.
I know I’m being real ‘ticky’, but I don’t like this sock and shoe color combo on Chris DeMuth in Post #100. Looks kinda dorky to me! His sock color should match his pants more closely.
Here's a sign...look at his watch. You cannot wear camel colored shoes with a very dark colored watch....I'd like to see his belt (which would be more important to match than his watch, but the watch was the only other item I could see in this picture). Surely the man had darker shoes in his closet.
First Lady Laura Bush did SUCH lovely job with the rug in the Oval Office...and throughout the rest of the house....just lovely. She has the good taste of my favs on HGTV - The short-haired blonde woman on Devine Design and Vern Nip....THIS is the ultimate compliment I could give her, too. She did a marvelous job of returning the most beautiful and respected home in our nation to its rightful look....classy and refined, yet wonderfully welcoming.
I KNEW YOU WOULD DO THIS...I KNEW YOU WERE THE MAN OF COMPASSION I VOTED FOR TWICE, AND WORKED SO HARD TO ELECT AND RE-ELECT!!!!!
I'M SO PROUD THAT YOU WERE MY PRESIDENT!!!!!!
God Bless you over and over and over again!!!!!
Thank you, Sir!!!!! NordP
The colors she picked are very soothing and lovely.
Who knows what we will get next. Judging from Michelle’s
taste in clothes, it won’t be pretty! LOL!
The black and tan outfit she had on during O'Reilly was very nice though...
You’re not EXCITED are you? LOL - joining in on your JOY!
1) watch John Wayne movies all day long; and/or
2) read Conservative books all day long; and/or
3) listen to great inauguration speeches of Conservative Presidents online; and/or
4) instead of having a swearing in party...make it a swearing at party ;-)
--course SHE doesn't swear...although she said she might consider a change of personal policy for this special occasion.
I’m gonna miss being an Unofficial White House Fashion Co-Consultant. ;o)
Here's hoping this is the only chance she'll have. ;o)
Me too ;-(
