"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." -from THE BIBLE: II Chronicles 7:14
Thank you Cindy...
You’re welcome Brad’s Gramma.

OUR TROOPS ROCK and we pray for them daily.
Good story about Dorothy. One of the first things I do when working for or volunteering in a building is learn the first name of the janitor!
A good Lord’s Day to you, AZ, and thanks for LeAnn’s Amazing Grace.
Good Lord’s Day to you, fan.....you know EXACTLY what we are facing. The roof is snow free and dry, except for a few patches below several skylights, and the driveway is almost “clean”. The street, however, is an ice skating rink. Wednesday I ended up in a snowbank just 5 houses down. I HATE ICE!!! Temps could be dropping below freezing tonight.
Tonight
Partly cloudy with a chance of rain in the evening...then rain likely after midnight...mixing with snow. Patchy fog. No snow accumulation. Lows in the lower to mid 30s. Light winds. Along Turnagain Arm and higher elevations...variable wind 15 mph becoming east 20 to 35 mph after midnight.
Sunday
Rain and snow in the morning...then rain in the afternoon. No snow accumulation. Highs in the upper 30s. Variable wind 10 mph. Along Turnagain Arm and higher elevations...southeast wind 15 to 30 mph increasing to 30 to 45 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night
Light snow likely. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s. Light winds. Along Turnagain Arm and higher elevations...east wind 15 to 30 mph in the evening becoming light.
Monday
Light snow likely. Temperatures remaining in the upper 20s to mid 30s. Light winds.
Monday Night
Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower to mid 20s. Light winds.
Tuesday
Partly cloudy. Highs in the 20s.
Driving to work Monday morning could be interesting.
You stay safe as well, fan.

(Celine Dion and Josh Groban - The Prayer)
A quote in George MacDonalds book David Elginbrod speaks to those who wonder, at times, why God has made them the way they areand who wish they were someone else.
Lady Emily muses: I wish I were you, Margaret.
Margaret answers: If I were you, my lady, I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of. For to have been thought aboutborn in Gods thoughtsand then made by God, is the dearest, grandest, most precious thing in all thinking.
MacDonald may have had Psalm 139:17 in mind: How precious . . . are Your thoughts to me, O God! In this psalm, David is thinking about his conception, and vividly describes Gods thoughts as He wove him together in his mothers womb, creating a unique and special individual to be the object of His love.
Its a comforting thought to know that were not a terrible mistake, but a very special creation, born in Gods thoughts. David could stand before a mirror and say in all honesty and humility: I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works (v.14).
You are a designer original! As such, you are dear, grand, and precious to God.
Reminds me of a favorite story; A young theologian is scheduled to meet with a revered elder scholar and is allowed the answer to only one question. For days he contemplates, trying to decide on the one question he should ask. Finally, he arrives at his decision.
Upon meeting the revered scholar, the young student asks the following question:
"What is the question I should ask you?"
Good Lord’s Day to you, Cindy, and thanks for the links. Still above freezing here today. All the snow from the roof is gone, and a sander actually came by, as the street is ALL ice.
