I got the link from EducationNews.org

To teach the weaknesses of the ToE is not to "make students doubt whether evolution really ocurred or not", it is intended to encourage students to seek the truth. What's the matter? Are you affraid?

It's better to teach
things like spelling first and then
do philosophy . . .

This in a school system where most of the high school students probably can’t add and subtract fractions. All of this is just a snow job - it’s so much easier to tell “science” students stories about evolution (or about creation, for that matter) than it is to require them to memorize actual biology and chemistry facts or do mathematical calculations of, for example, dilution or velocity.

Just more dumbing down ... make the teachers’ job easier, give the students good grades for “learning” basically nothing.

You only have to look at those two losers to grasp the problem... Evoloserism is about lifestyles, and not science.

Without a Creator, there’s no objective judge to be accountable to, and you can do what is right in your own eyes.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Who's telling them that if evolution happens, it means there can be no Creator?

Your wisdom and insight is astounding.

And are your compliments florid, or your sarcasm subtle? ;-).

It's a fine line between saying "there is no Creator" and "it is not necessary to believe in a Creator".

I had to look up the word "florid", and after doing so, I'd say the former. ;-)

Well, thank you, then. I’m a little slow today: cold weather slows my brain and makes me want to go to bed under a rock, like the reptiles.

What's the line look like between saying "it is necessary to believe in a Creator", and saying "it is necessary to believe this account of Creation"?

Why is teaching science equivalent to teaching “it is not necessary to believe in a Creator”?

This "account of creation", being the ToE, first rules out all supernatural influences making the creator no more powerful than chance.

ToE doesn't explain Creation or a Creator.

The relevant difference between man and animals is that men have souls. ToE isn't telling them that if men evolved it means they don't have souls. The theologians are telling them that.
