Republicans are totally unarmed for the political guerrilla warfare that the Dems wage.
For the past 14 years, the Democrats have received a minority of the votes for the TN House, and thanks to their grotesque gerrymanders, maintained anywhere from a 10-15 seat majority. We always whittled down their numbers, and this was the year we finally broke their gerrymander, getting 6 figures more votes for our candidates, widest support ever for the GOP since Reconstruction. Frankly, the entire GOP membership should’ve walked out en masse. This was theft, plain and simple. Williams is a liar and a traitor. His “pledge” was worthless.
Mumpower should’ve gotten several Democrats in his back pocket as Naifeh has with RINOs, including his new puppet.
If not in Tennessee, I don't know where they'd turn to arms.
That’s not stealing power. The Dems were able to get somebody to break ranks. The Republicans could have done the exact same thing.
Something really weird happened like this in PA not too long ago. The Dims took control by a slim majority, the GOP offered a few dims some incentives for switching their votes. The dims responded by poaching one a few of the Republicans with a Philly based Republican as the speaker.
I had to cover the issue for the newspaper since the former speaker was from out here in West Texas.
Just crazy.... The lawmakers honestly thought Craddick would win, but it was stolen because of a RINO coalition.
Granted, Craddick didn’t do much to help himself in the past, but he should have been speaker.
They are stealing power. ALL 50 Republicans pledged to support Mumpower for Speaker. This is a puppet installation by the current rodent who has been in power for 2 decades.
Its time for Conservatives (in the era of big gov Democrat DOMINANCE) to DIVORCE themselves from the Republican Party and run as Democrats if you can ~sometimes~ stomach running as Democrats and voting for their Liberal for “Leaders Post”, then (that way we can increase Conservative Representation without giving up our beliefs-Use the Same “Tactic” Strategy they used against us The “DINO”!
