In TX, the new Speaker, Straus, is RINO stalking horse of the Democrat leader Jim Dunnam of the liberal city of Waco.
Problem in TX was a different situation. Craddick should’ve stepped down when there were cracks in his leadership and approved a successor to hold the caucus together. Straus wasn’t hiding his intentions. This session this afternoon was expected to see Republican Jason Mumpower elected, period. This was a total and absolute ambush. It’s a shameful day in Tennessee today that a minority party stole once again power rightfully belong to the Republican party, the party that has received a majority of votes for the past 14 years and STILL has not gotten control of the House.
It may be spelled Waco; but’s it’s always been known as Whacko to us Texans.
