For the past 14 years, the Democrats have received a minority of the votes for the TN House, and thanks to their grotesque gerrymanders, maintained anywhere from a 10-15 seat majority. We always whittled down their numbers, and this was the year we finally broke their gerrymander, getting 6 figures more votes for our candidates, widest support ever for the GOP since Reconstruction. Frankly, the entire GOP membership should’ve walked out en masse. This was theft, plain and simple. Williams is a liar and a traitor. His “pledge” was worthless.
But...but... state legislatures reflect the INTERESTS of the WHOLE state, dontsa know. How silly to think that a gerrymandered RAT legislature held hostage by Dems in urban areas with the help of a token RINO would do otherwise. We MUST repeal the 17th amendment immediately and let those wonderful guys in the state legislatures pick our U.S. Senators FOR us so our states will have representation in the federal government. Clearly, we won't have a TRUE Republic in this country until the TN RAT legislature is allowed to overturn the election results and install Harold Ford as U.S. Senator, just as they overturned the vote on the state level.
Can't you see this is all being done because it's in the BEST INTERESTS of your entire state?
