All George cares about these days is cheap labor, and possibly closer personal ties to Mexican rulers than he wants to discuss. Personally, I’m fed up and disgusted.
Screw off and go become president of Mexico.
A fool to the end.
Send back a million working illegals and you just created 1 million jobs.
Send back four million working illegals and you just created 4 million.
Wonder if Obamanation will pick up on this.
âAbsolutely disgustingâ, The republican party elected a Democrat and put him in office.
Such an action would be rewarding lawbreaking, so no. Allowing an unfettered influx of immigration, legal or illegal, into what has every appearance of being the worst recession any of us have ever experienced, is foolhardy in the extreme. All the dramatic handwringing over mislabeled "anti-immigrant" sentiment will turn into genuine anti-immigrant sentiment. The apparent lack of concern for the citizenry of the United States is driving the anger. But, keep banging away at it, and ultimately you'll prove yourselves "right."
“We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We’re a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.
Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.
For years our nation has debated this change — some have
praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.”
George Bush, campaign speech in Miami, August 25, 2000.

I understand and I agree with you.
But...my question is to the FRiends that claim it’s the word ‘illegal’ that triggers the anger.
If illegals are suddenly made ‘legal’, then they have nothing to be angry about....do they?
I mean, whose business is it if we wake up tomorrow with 20 million ‘new’ fellow US citizens?
“he warned that there ought not be any “litmus tests as to whether or not you can be a Republican.””
No Mr. President, there really should be a litmus test on what you are allowed to believe and do and still be considered a “Republican”.
In fact, that is the whole reason for political parties - to have set of beliefs and fight for them with focus and vigor - not dilute them into meaningless principles by including contradictory ideas under the mantra of “inclusiveness”
As it stands now under President Bush’s leadership, even espousing and advocating socialism, big government, unaccountable bailout spending isn’t a litmus test for being a Republican. Apparently, as in Mr. McCain, being a defacto Democrat on most issues doesn’t preclude you from being a Republican.
The only thing that seems to preclude you being a Republican and having a say in GOP policy under GWB’s leadership is being a conservative.
Agreed. Also ,bush can spout all of the we are all gods children jive he likes. He will forever be the Katrina , Iraq kid. I guess all of the americans killed in that middle east stink hole don’t count. Let him and his tribe slither back to that dust bowl he calls a ranch . Keep your mouth shut idiot , no one cares what you have to try to say.
Votes, pure and simple. The Pubs want their votes; the Dems want their votes. Whoever cowtows to them, gets a huge block of votes. At least, that's the plan.
Sure. Let’s free rapists and expunge their records too.
They are sure to be law abiding people after that.
What kind of influence have conservatives had on lord McCain over these past 8 years? The party abandoned conservatives not the other way around. Bama looked and sounded a whole lot more 'sane' than the 'earmark' ragging lord McCain. I do not know anyone outside of FR that has a clue what earmarks mean.
“Obviously, we got whipped in 2008,” Bush said.
..
Ya’ think?! Couldn’t have been the reach-across-the-aisle Rhino move-to-center BS that did it. Meanwhile, the left established a new center. Brilliant move.
What a disappointment Bush has become.
You’re flat out lying about me.
I never uttered the word ‘ultra liberal’ anywhere on my profile. And the reason I deleted my profile is because of posters like yourself.
I said I am a staunch Ronald Reagan conservative, but found myself holding liberal views on the topic of illegal immigration.
If they successfully run the gauntlet and get themselves here...find fruitful work and stay out of other legal trouble, they should be allowed to stay here as documented workers.
Now....go home and get your shoe shine box.
And if we rescinded all our criminal laws, our crime rates would be zero, wouldn't they? Then we'd no longer need law enforcement or most of the courts. Think of the money we'd save.
2000 Election
Bush: Electoral Votes: 271
Gore: Electoral Votes: 266
The President of the United State actively encouraging the destruction of us.
Is the game on?
