Coleman Campaign Cheers Latest Recount Twist
NEWSMAX ^ | JANUARY 8, 2009 | DAVID A. PATTEN

Alan Page, the former NFL star and Minnesota Supreme Court justice who will choose the panel of judges that will effectively determine the next senator of Minnesota, is a staunch critic of the controversial method used to decide which absentee ballots would be included in the recount – a major complaint of GOP Sen. Norm Coleman’s campaign.

State law says the chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court, Paul Magnuson, should appoint the three-judge panel to hear Coleman’s appeal. Magnuson, however, served on the Canvassing Board that issued many of the rulings that the three-member panel will be asked to review.

Anxious to avoid any apparent partiality, Magnuson has recused himself, and announced that Page would appoint the panel.

Someone needs to go to jail. It won’t stop until there are prosecutions.

My guess is that he recused himself because he knew that Page would not do anything he would not do. These libs are exceptionally slick. They only yield when they know it won’t make a difference.

Coleman is fighting this

If it wasn’t for the Third Party loons, Coleman

Oh yeah understood, I like the .308 though. I am a fan of the short action bolt rifles. But of the two the 30-06 springfield is the king of take down power,

Actually, I want Ma Deuce in a ring turret on top of my vehicle... and a Barrett .50 cal semi auto for backup. But for closeups I want my 12ga. pump.

Or, as we used to sing, “A sniper in a Palm tree.” But that was long ago and far away, and Uncle Ho’s still dead... and so’s General Giap!

Please...this theft can’t happen. I’ve had with election theft I’d love to see some Republican on tv dropping f bombs about this an getting people really riled up to riot levels.

But anyway get his. Alan Page played for the Vikings, but I just discovered he ended his career the Bears. Illinois Supreme Court Justice Bob Thomas was a Bears kicker as Billy reminded me.

2 former Bears are State Supreme court justices. Wow that’s weird. I bet no other team can boast that. Add a Senator Ditka and it’d be ridiculous.

One vote that hurt Coleman was his YES vote for Paulson’s 700 billion dollar financial industry bail-out.

It wasn’t well-received here in Minnesota by Republicans, Independents and Democrats.

He knew it was exceptionally unpopular here - but he decided to listen to the Washington insiders and voted for it.

*One vote that hurt Coleman was his YES vote for*

And thinking you would get a pure conservative not voting for Coleman and insuring Al Frankin.

A state that voted for 9/11 Truther Jesse Ventura I guess will support a George Soros lemming, Franken
