MEP condemns Muslim prayer outside Milan Cathedral

Rome: A member of Italy’s anti-immigration opposition party condemned yesterday the weekend prayer by thousands of Muslims outside Milan’s Cathedral in protest against Israel’s military offensive in Gaza.

“The fact that Muslim extremists transformed the Cathedral square into an outdoor Mosque (constitutes) an incredible provocation,” ANSA news agency quoted Mario Borghezio, European deputy with the Northern League, as saying.

“The prayer to Allah recited by thousands of fanatical Muslims is an act of intimidation, a slap in the face for the city of Milan which must remain Christian,” he added.

Roughly 5,000 people, mostly migrants to Italy, gathered in Milan Saturday in protest against Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip since December 27, with hundreds of Muslims convening outside Milan Cathedral for a prayer.

Although +Ambrose of Milan lived centuries before Mohammed I am sure that the conversion of the Moslems was of his prayer in his great Advent hymn “Savior, of the Nations Come”:

But Father Tonio dell’Olio, former Secretary General of Pax Christi Italy, told Corriere della Sera newspaper it was “legitimate that Muslim solidarity is conveyed through prayer.”

So why are they surprised?? There are no Christians left in Europe. They long ago decided to kick God out of their lives. Just a sign of things to come IMO.

The first sign that the world has regained sanity - will be when all nations forbid any further inflow of Muslim immigrants and puts severe measures in place to punish or deport any Muslim hate speech, protests, riots, criminal activity or threats against non Muslims.

The Christians should have stepped out and mooned Mecca, then farted in its general direction in order to insinuate that they actually don’t give a ragpicker’s s#!+ what these mohammedan immigrants believe or want. Sooner or later we all have to do that, actually.

I wouldn't turn my back on a muslim. As a Christian I am an infidel. I will always be an infidel because I will never convert to Islame. (Misspelled on purpose.) Therefore, according to their teachings they must "try" to kill me. I don't turn my back on someone who is trying to kill me.

You are right though. Eventually we will all have to take a stand. Unfortunately that stand will most likely be violent. I may die taking that stand. But I will not die alone.
