A U.N. official in Gaza said a school where dozens of Palestinians were killed by tank shells on Tuesday was clearly marked with a U.N. flag and its location had been reported to Israeli authorities.
John Ging, director of operations in Gaza for UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, said the death toll in the Israeli artillery strike near the school in Jabalya refugee camp was 30 dead with another 55 people injured.

The UN is hosed on this one and they know it. Israel recon has video footage of the launches from the school yard. I have also read that the building was wired to detonate, although I can’t confirm that. Israel is taking mortar fire to get these videos.....perhaps the UN should just STFU.

The irony is the Israelis care more for Pali children than the parents do! The parents no doubt rejoice in their little martyrs.

That's part of their charter!
When UN folks are observed raping people they are supposed to protect they just reiterate that their personnel are

Asked whether Hamas militants were in the area of the Jabalya school at the time of the strike, Ging said it was the scene of clashes "so there's an intense military and militant activity in that area." So your answer is yes, Am I correct?

In wars - of the nature the Jihadists desire and exercise - no one is immune to death... NO ONE.
When it comes to “children” dying — nits become lice, especially when raised and indoctrinated by Islamists..

so why was a hamas mortar being fired from this well marked school?Reuters doesn't wish to discuss those things. It's just not their M.O.
They'd disappoint their fan base if they let a shred of objectivity in their reporting.

I swear it's like watching a Roadrunner cartoon! Same thing, over and over, time and again. Coyote has an idea, it blows up in his face. Next act, another idea and another failure. On and on for well over 30 years now.
Did you by chance hear that fool on the Hugh Hewitt show last night. I forget his name, but his a big-wig with salon.com . He was going on and on to explain how the Gaza thing is all Israel's fault and those currently in control of the Gaza territory have tried repeatedly to find a peaceful solution, only to be foiled by the “evil juice.”
It might just be wishful thinking on my part, but I seem to sense a different response to this operation by the IDF from the responses in the past. Not that any of the usual suspects are beating down the doors of the press to blame Israel's sworn enemy, but there certainly seems to be an awful lot of dead quiet coming from them.

I don't believe them. And a protected site under international law loses its status if its used for military purposes by the enemy.

Coming from the UN, that's really very reassuring. Isn't it?

Let the UN puff about all they want.
The main thing that needs to happen is that the IDF completely ignores them.

There’s a video showing the peaceful Gazoonians firing harmless mortars from the school.
I guess the OZama media missed the video.
