Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says both her 18-year-old daughter Bristol, who gave birth to son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday, and fiance Levi Johnston are working hard to balance schoolwork with their new parental obligations, People Magazine reported.
"You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time," the Alaska governor told the magazine in a phone message. "They are certainly not high school dropouts."
Any suggestion to the contrary "harms Bristol's reputation and Levi's reputation and their chances for good work opportunities," Pail said.

Governor, there's no need to tell us. This is one of those situations in which time reveals all.
The way parenthood has impacted these two kids will become plain for all to see in 6, 12, 18 months and longer and there'll be no need for explanations or spin. The success or failure of their relationship will be obvious.

In butcher shops, you see "butts" and people order them. On military bases in the field, you see "butt cans" labeled as such for expended cigarettes. Sometimes, a person can become the "butt" of a joke.

“Out of wedlock pregnancy”- stupid and often in these times- very very VERY selfish. But not always. There are circumstances where coould have walked any one of us or someone we love.
“Out of wedlock birth”- welcome the child into the world? Not you. Brand it with a scarlet letter of “B” for bastard”
“Social conservatives” with YOUR attitude contribute to the growth of ABORTION as an alternative to a lifetime of “shame”. Yes, unmarried girls would not want you “social conservatives” to look at them and see their shame- so they abort.

If Levi’s father was named Levi, they could have named the baby Levi, then called him Trip. Hillbillies! One does NOT use these nicknames on birth certificates. No doubt the parents of Tripp Easton Mitchell mistakenly believe they have given their son a “classy” appellation. The family is a joke.

Sorry to break it to you but Alaska has become a welfare/entitlement state. The street smart parasites from Oregon, Washington and even kalifornia have washed up on the shores of Los Anchorage. They have a network that can get a new "resident" signed onto medicaid, child support, this support and that support in a matter of days. I see it routinely. I'm told that the average Anchorage resident has only lived there for THREE years. How do you think the socialist Anchorage mayor mark begich just got elected to the senate from Alaska? Then again we have the yearly give away called the permafund dividend which last year paid out over 15K for a family of five (thanks to SP).
