Two EMT workers in Britain were arrested after they were heard allegedly discussing whether they should bother to resuscitate a disabled man who had collapsed at home and subsequently died.
Barry Baker, 59, who lived alone, dialed 911 saying that he thought he was having a heart attack. An ambulance was sent to his house while a controller kept him talking on the line.

National “Health Care” at its best. Yes, I said at its best. It only goes downhill from there.
In all of these articles about this subject, they never mention the nature of the victim’s disability, only that he was “disabled.”
Shoddy reporting.
Oh Man!! How often does this happen when it’s not recorded? The fruits of Darwinism.
He had recently had hip replacement surgery.
You said it!
File this under, another reason not to believe government and the people it employs, will act in your best interests.
THIS is what the Liberal Democrat Left has planned for America.
Britain is their model.
There was a whole lot more detail to the story and I remember talking to my friend about her Aunt while it was going on. I told her they are trying to kill her, none of what was taking place made any sense, except for that conclusion.
Long story short, she died, my friend now believes they “killed her”. Unfortunately, I believe “killing” the disabled and elderly has come to the USA.
God must be ticked off at such ruthlessness!
Shoddy reporting.
That's the fault of Fox news.
Much better article from the Time here...

This is his apparent disability.
Mr Baker, who used sticks to help to him walk after undergoing hip replacement surgery, made the emergency call to the South East Coast Ambulance Service headquarters in Lewes in the early hours of November 29.

Absolutely disgusting what Britain has turned into.
Unfortunately, a lot of people in the US want us to be more like them.
No thanks!
“
Unfortunately, it’s already here in the USA.
It just hasn’t fulling rolled downhill from Professors like Peter Singer
of Princeton U. to the average working Joe/Josephine.
Of course, Singer is something of a hypocrite...and it’s a good thing
his mother (afflicted with Alzheimers) is well-cared for by her son.
And Singer hasn’t (yet) decided his mum’s “quality of life” is so
low that she should be euthanized.
Hip replacement? That is what deemed this poor soul to “not worthy of saving”? Poor thing.
If the elderly or disabled have no voice (family who looks after them), they are as good as dead.
Thanks Obama and dems! But of course federal and many state government employees are covered for life (w/COLA adjustments) under a different program than the average citizen can get or afford if we could buy it.
Uhh, the article said he was complaining of chest pain! So what more did you think the story needed?
When BO’s government “healthcare” is instituted this will be standard procedure.
Terri Schiavo
So, not to detract from the horror of the story, but was he disabled or recovering from surgery? Because there is a big difference between the two, really.
And it won't stop with just infants or the disabled, either.
That made me throw up just a little in my mouth. Truly sickening, but coming soon, if not here already.
