Actually the Boston Globe ran an Op/Ed that said Mary Jo would vote for Ted Kennedy today had she lived to her 65th b’day because of all the benefits he’d gotten for seniors. They were serious. They’re in complete denial. A 20 year old girl that worked with us back on 9-11 didn’t believe me when I told her about Chappaquiddick.

I personally don’t think she’s unattractive for a woman of her age, but also think we can fall into a foolish game of going after appearances. I wish we didn’t even have pictures of politicicans in one sense because it is a distraction from the worth or worthlessness of their ideas. Of course, it was her father’s candidacy which was the tipping point for us to spill into the “politics of the picture” with TV and all that.
