Nope.
Had the day off, actually.
I took a flip on some ice earlier today.
A good soak will take the soreness out.
Back soon..

There is always something to do there, huh! It’s called
job security! LOL! I am just glad to see you have some
time to get on-line. Does this mean that you have a new
‘puter?

Evening Ma!!
One of my Christmas's, 1972, I was stationed in Ansbach Germany.
My dad sent me some Jim Beam whiskey in a glass syrup bottle.
Of course, by the time it got to my mailroom it was leaking and smelled. My dad had put on the customs declaration "cologne". My sergeant handed it to me with a wink!!

Great thread, Kathy!
I guess our longest distance from home at Christmas was
when we moved to Germany. It was kind of lonely...except
that we got together with friends. You do that when you
are in the service and are so far away.
We had also just found out that my mom was dying of a
brain tumor and I felt so isolated and helpless in the
face of that.

Hi, Procon! Happy New Year!
I loved the experience of living in Germany. It was so
beautiful. Did you ever go to Krist Kindl Markt in Nurnberg?
It was the most fun at the Christmas season! Those huge
pretzels...the beautiful ornaments....*sigh*
I want to go back!

Hiya LUV!!
I was fortunate enough to spend 3 tours in Germany, and yes the Kris Kringel Mart was too cool.
I loved each and every minute of Germany!!

Good evening, Pro....cologne from your Dad. LOL!! Glass doesn’t travel very well, and before baggies too. Thanks for sharing.
I can’t get my pinger to work from work, and now, in the last hour, it has quit working from home. GRRRR!!!
I trust you and the family had a nice Christmas. Weather warming up? It’s -5 here.
