The president elect spent about an hour with the troops. Obama Transition aides say that Obama did not eat with the uniformed men and women he ate at his beach home with his family and friends Christmas night. When President Bush visits the troops on a holiday in the messhall, he eats with them, and often does a stint serving the food. Even Hillary eats with them.
Nothing like shatting on the plates of those who will soon have your back.

Didnt know that that was a POTUS requirement. Good thing Joe Lieberman or dare say Mitt Romney didnt get elected You miss the point. Lieberman never *pretended* to be Christian. I'll bet he celebrate the appropriate holy days, either at the temple or at home as is the custom for those of his religion.
Romney would likely say he was a Christian, he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, after all. Mormons celebrate Christmas (Christ's Mass) on the same day as other Christians, even though many believe Jesus was actually born in the spring.

Thanks, I appreciate that. However, the page mainly deals with his radical left associations.

In the military, the higher ranking officers serve the troops on holidays. President Bush serving, as the highest rank of all, is traditional. Of course, Democrat presidents (and presidents-elect) don’t know the etiquette, or more likely don’t care.
He should have eaten his meal there with them at the very least. What a tool!

That gal (I think thats what it is) with the tattooed arm in the left part of that picture reminds me of just about every BAM (WM - Woman Marine) at Camp Pendleton in the 60s... Let's not go dissing the lady Marines. This one might come back to haunt your a$$.
She's the one on the left and this was taken only few months before she reported to Paris Island.
That one is at 30, some years after she left the Corps, unfortunately the images on LadyX's homepage of her as a Marine homepage are no longer available.
Here she was 50 years after entering the Corps.
And if, forgiving soul that she is, doesn't come back to haunt your a$$, Texas Cowboy will come back and kick it.
That gal is probably a squid anyway. :)

Obama visiting a Marine base is about like a notorious whore in church. Not really, the whore is likely there for salvation, or at least forgiveness, and in most churches, but of course not all, would be welcome on that basis.
"O" OTOH, is there to use the Grunts, squids and their families as background for a photo op. I doubt he was particularly welcome.
More like a turd in the punchbowl than a whore in church. IMHO.

I completely understand and fully aware of Obama attitude towards our military. But he did visit them, so for now I won't criticize him over this. I certainly will and he deserves it.
He did it for a photo op, and has made it clear he does not have our military in his best interests.
He visited them for his political reasons, not for the troops. Period.
Any one that completely understands and is fully aware of Obama's attitude towards our military would know that.
And, the "for now" comment.
Obama apologists don't criticize their guy except for subterfugal reasons when it fits their agenda.
It's alright, there are a lot of OA's here and the syndrome is recognized and noted when it rears it's head.
