He’s got something that is not called the “fairness doctrine” that will accomplish the same thing - I think it’s called “localization” or some such.
It seems the fairness doctrine is just the matador’s cape.

Hmm... How about boycotting any company in her district like...Hewlett Packard (as much as I like their stuff). Sending the companies letters too.

In all fairness, this woman is an imbecile who will not be able to get any legislation she and the idiots on her staff writes passed.

Well, elections and actions do have conseqwuences.
And one of the conquences is, except when Republicans win, the winner makes the rules. The Republicans deferred to the Democrats for the last 7 years. This is one reason we are in the mess that we are in. The Country Club Republicans believe that they can co-exist with the communists a/k/a Democrats. When the communist get their power consolidated they will be for a rude aweakening.
It is only going to get worse.

Oh, just give me the slightest reason to drop this cable TV that I pay for every month. I’m on the verge anyway of dropping it.

Just reading through her biography I found she worked for Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) from 1963 to 1966. That meant she was there when Elmer T. Klassen and Benjamin Bailer took over the company. I have no idea at all what her job might have been but her then husband was a lawyer.
What I wonder is what she knew about the plane crash that killed the President of the company before Elmer took over, and did she address any concerns she might have had to the FBI.

The commies already control cable and satellite. So they want to give the supports of freedom and liberty equal airtime?
That was my take as well. pmsnbcdnccnn couldn't survive an opposing viewpoint.

Not only that, but if I were to have a private conversation with Rush he would be required to say something nice about Harry Reid.

I’ll support the Fairness Doctrine if it applies to CBS, NY Times, MSNBC, etc.

Radio uses public airways to distribute the message...... must be fair.
News papers use public roads to distribute their message...... must be fair.
Time and Newsweek use public mails to distribute their message....... must be fair.
All media that uses public infrastructure are subject to the fairness doctrine

So, in other words this simple scumbag Eshoo wants CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC to now devote half of their days to bringing people in to present the news with a conservative spin? And Williams, Gibson, and Couric must vacate their desks for half of their broadcasts so conservative anchors can sit in and re-read the news with a conservative spin?
Wow.

They will throw everything in the pot in the hopes that some of it will stick. That will be the start.
