>>It will never be considered because it will violate the “First Amendment”
So does McCain-Feingold. Big deal. Violating a Right is seen as no big deal these days in Washington.

After this past election cycle and Obama’s illicit fund raising operation, McCain-Feingold is moot law. In the ‘04 cycle, 527’s got around it.

I guess Katie will have to give up her chair for half her show/newscast. As will Chrissy et al.

"Although president-elect Barack Obama has stated that he is opposed to the reimposition of the so-called Fairness Doctrine, it remains to be seen if he can resist the pressure of Congress to bring back a measure that many on the left favor" Some guys have brass ones...others paper mache. Will 0bama just be Nancy's puppet or not??

Can we extend the Fairness Doctrine to PRINT media?
How about we make mandate that the editorial pages across the nation endorse Republicans and Democrats equally?

Does she not know, since it has been pounded into the mush minds of people all over the place that normal (basically free) TV broadcasts are going the way of the Dodo bird next February???
Radio will technically be the last bastion of free speech left...
Brilliant!!!

We ought to call her office and tell her how stupid she really is...But then again ignorance on her part might be bliss...

One other thing...If the effort begins to extend to this form of communication...Internet forums and other bloging type websites...
Because if Rush, Hannity, Levin, and yes even Savage and other shows on TalkRadio start to feel the pinch, I really feel most people know what the score is and that their programing (loss) would not impact us that much...I really feel it will not effect the movement much...
We still have these websites to more actively discuss and debate the issues...
When they come after us in these places is where we might have a problem...
But I would surely like to continue hearing these programs on the air remain available for us to listen and participate in in the future...

As long as CNN has Obama-loving Gerkin, Toobin and Begala as “analysts” they will never be fair and balanced.
To: PJ-Comix
Howard Stern is just gonna love this. They are total morons.

It seems the fairness doctrine is just the matadors cape. Matador's cape - brilliant phrasing
Is it original with you or did you see it used that way elsewhere?
