Good names for a trio of toddlers? Heath and Deborah Campbell think so. The Holland Township couple has picked those names and the oldest child, Adolf Hitler Campbell, turns 3 today.
This has given rise to a problem, because the ShopRite supermarket in Greenwich Township has refused to make a cake for young Adolf's birthday.
"We believe the request ... to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate," said Karen Meleta, a ShopRite spokeswoman. The Campbells turned down the market's offer to make a cake with enough room for them to write their own inscription and can't understand what all of the fuss is about.
"ShopRite can't even make a cake for a 3-year-old," said Deborah Campbell, 25, who is Heath's wife of three years and the mother of the children. "That's sad."
Others, such as Anti-Defamation League director Barry Morrison, applauded Shop Rite's decision.
"Might as well put a sign around their (the children's) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger," said Morrison. "What's the difference?"

Someone should pound these people everyday until they grow a brain. I hope their next kid comes out black.
If he is home schooled by his strongly bigoted parents, he will be so brain washed … he will be proud of his middle name. ;-)
I don’t see a problem w/ it, whatever happened to free speech?
There was an article in the Chicago Tribune a couple of years ago about a Teamsters hall somewhere in the city that has a hammer & a sickle & Commie flag in view in the office somewhere in the building. Heck even Barack Obambi, Danny Davis & many Chicago Libs belong to the Socialist Party of the USA & even have a website.
Oh yeah remember the ballot here in Missconsin the last election? there was a Communist party ticket.
The last i remember Josef Stalin murdered in excess of 30 million & is way ahead of Hitler in the Guinness World Records & went down as a national hero.
I forgot to add Pol Pot murdered approx.3 million & went down as a national hero, his top aid said they did what they did w/ a clear conscience no penalty no nothing.
People love socialism so everything Hitler did was wrong & discusting.

What “free speech” is that?
The Constitutional doctrine of free speech does not guarantee the right to a forum of your choice (cake from Shop-Rite in this case) or the right to compel others to facilitate your speech. It also does not guarantee freedom from criticism and mockery or the right to be taken seriously.
All the Constitution really guarantees is that these idiots can’t be tossed in the jail for honoring their hero, and nobody here has suggested that.

Yes, one would think so. But if this Shoprite had refused to make a cake for a lesbian “wedding” celebration, the business would be out of business, saddled with fines and legal costs to defend itself against the charge of hate crime, discrimination, denial of civil rights etc.
I’ll be sure to tell all my friends that lost family in the Holocaust that Stalin and Pol Pot were worse. I think that will cheer them up. And while I’m at it, maybe I should remind them of all the other times their religion was targeted for slaughter as a way of giving them a better sense of humor.
