No. Obama beat hillary because the Dem players and money people evidently decided to back him instead of hillary, and the Dem base was never very enthusiastic about her.

You can fault Rush for allowing Fred Thompson to be polished off by the MSM and the RNC, but it’s a hard call. The stinking liberal media elected Obama, just like they secured McCain's nomination for him through puff piece coverage. They knew the only way to get this done was to suppress conservative votes, and that's exactly what McCain's campaign did.
In a very bizarre primary Rush did a pretty good job of finding some course of action to take.
While it was thought that bringing down Hillary would give us victory, the economic collapse, 0s 750 million, and finding out that he was a deity among half the population and all of the media were things that could not be predicted by us, by Rush, or even by the Clintons who seem as baffled and surprised as we are.
In spite of all of that, in a couple of years we still may find that Obama is easier to dismantle than the third term of the Clintons would have been, but of course, who knows?

The election of BHO showed me that the collective IQ of the American electorate is somewhere in the low 80s, i.e. functional retardation. They don’t drool (much) and don’t poop in their pants (too often) but they can be reliably depended upon to execute specific instructions, such as how to vote.
Obama won because the RNC interfered with the normal primary process and manipulated a weakwishywashy candidate into the “win” position.
If the RNC had allowed the people to choose the Republican Candidate, then the outcome may have been significantly different.
