Obama campaign manager David Plouffe reflects in an interview: "We went through as rigorous a primary as we've ever seen in our country's history, I think, and there's no doubt that made us a stronger general election candidate. A lot of our dirty laundry was aired, and we had practice in testing a campaign...because we had been through 54 primaries and caucuses, and run the gauntlet. McCain hadn't done that."

In a very bizarre primary Rush did a pretty good job of finding some course of action to take.
While it was thought that bringing down Hillary would give us victory, the economic collapse, 0s 750 million, and finding out that he was a deity among half the population and all of the media were things that could not be predicted by us, by Rush, or even by the Clintons who seem as baffled and surprised as we are.
In spite of all of that, in a couple of years we still may find that Obama is easier to dismantle than the third term of the Clintons would have been, but of course, who knows?

I have a liberal, very liberal, very educated, family member. She, of course, voted for Obama. But she thought McCain was a good candidate and was surprised that the Republicans nominated him! She wouldn't have been too unhappy with McCain, but when he nominated Palin she thought it was just terrible.
I use her to keep me on the right side of things, if she is for it I know it is expensive to the taxpayer, detrimental to the country, and just plain wrong.

Here is a great way to continue Operation Chaos; call Blago's office and encourage Blago to stay and fight. If he resigns the investigation will go underground and Obama will escape unscathed. Lets keep this investigation in the public.
Call Blago and tell him to call their bluff

Savage is crap. How he can call himself a conservative, I’ll never know. But it seems that every time I stumble across his show he’s fully accepting the liberal media’s premise without ever questioning it.
I’m glad that Mark Levin is on around the same time he is on. It gives me a real conservative to listen to. Levin almost always seems to see right through the liberal media’s propaganda whenever it’s pushed.

It is so early in the morning that I posted about the primary in general and forgot to mention Operation Chaos, I think that OC only hurt Obama and cost him money, all Rush did was delay Os free ride by keeping Hillary biting at his ankles.

Ask the Clintons if any democrat winning is the same as them winning. Besides there is every chance that Obama may prove to be buffoonish in office.

Operation Chaos succeeded in defeating Hillary. That was the goal. That's an interesting piece of revisionist history.

Absolutely.....no Republican and Democrat campaign or Presidency can be analyzed honestly without including the role of the MSM/Hollywood/Academia/Bureaucracy War Room that openly works for the liberals.

Blast from the past then. Lucy banned me for daring to say ‘thank you’ to another poster by name, on election eve 2000.
The irony is it was more about my noting her support for John McCain was ridiculous than it was a simple ‘thanks’ to another poster. Lot of people forget she was 100% behind McCain back in 1999, and throughout 2000’s primary cycle. To the point of making excuses for Cindy McCain wearing that ‘Hillary broach’ that was all the rage in New York City back then.
Haven’t hit that site in years.

That was one of the highpoints, as was the speech from the rubble of the WTC.
