Don’t worry. FEMA is on the way with prepaid cards to help New Orleanians get through this crisis.

Is there a global warming conference in session in New Orleans? Perhaps one is scheduled for next week and will have to be cancelled due to inclement weather.

It’s beautiful in Baton Rouge. I’m the only one in my group that made it in to work. They closed I-12 for a while and the schools all closed.

As of 9:30am it’s changed from snow to rain.

Cool day though. Let it snow...

That’s too bad.

I was really hoping the “predictions” that PA was going to start feeling like FL in the next 10 years were right...

The snow is about an inch. But it melts on the street. Big fluffy snow flakes. Can’t drive.

All the locals say they can’t stop giggling.

Snow is so beautiful!

And from the looks of it, the government doesn’t even care! Send heaters! Send snowmobiles! These people will be inside all day and don’t even have decent 60” plasma TVs to watch! Send $2000 debit cards now!

ROTFL! The place is gonna shut down! Thankfully, though, the area is mostly flat, so they won’t have the problem folks have, here in MA, of trying to get up and down hills on glare ice! That’s like being a pinball, getting bounced from one side, or one car, to another.
