We would like to take the opportunity to remember our friend, Tony Snow and to send Christmas wishes and prayers to his family and friends.
Please post your messages here.
So sorry!
Plain and simple. Tony was special. He is missed.
Thanks guys. I wasn’t close with her (our group is actually spread throughout 4 states), but my boss was having a tough time and had to leave. It makes you realize how fragile life is. She was only 42.
I feel so bad for her family. Not that there is ever a good time to lose someone, but it’s got to be hard right before Christmas.
So often we put things off, thinking there will always be time. “I’ll do it when I lose 15 pounds” or “I’ll do it after Christmas/in the spring/when the weather cools off/when it warms up” or “When the kids get older/go to college/move out.” But we can’t. Life is just too short. IMO, that’s something Tony always told us, too. We don’t want to look back and think, “I should have....”
Sorry to get all sentimental. LOL
Tony was an angel right here on earth. If we SNOW-Flakes know it, then imagine how well his family knew it.
I keep the Snow family in my prayers that they are comforted and kept strong. Tony will always be with them, and in our hearts as well.
Best Wishes for the family, Merry Christmas.
Yes he was special and we miss him, lysie.
(hugs)
What a wonderful message, Fudd Fan!
:D
Glad you ran with it! He deserves our thoughts at this time
of the year...as does his family!
Prayers and Merry Christmas
DITTO!
It was funny in the weird way. The day you posted this I had thought about how Jill, Kendra, Robbie and Christie were. I know how Tony is. I still miss him. A man I never got to meet was so special to me.
I have thought of you often over these past months and prayed for you when God brought you to mind. Tony was one of my very favorite public figures. The combination of character, faith, wit, intelligence, articulateness, warmth, kindness, and joy that he had was rare. I miss him--and I never met him--I can't begin to understand your grief.
Thank you for sharing him with the public. Please know that my family and I continue to pray for all of you---that God would comfort you in the way that only He can do.
Merry Christmas and many blessings in the new year.
But more than that, something that was always apparent about Tony was his faith in God, and the importance of his family.
Long ago, one of my mentors taught me this order:
1. God
2. Family
3. Country
4. Job
It was always clear that Tony kept this proper order in the way he valued aspects of his life. In this, he was a rare man, and definitely worthy of emulation. Your husband (father) was a very special man for me to know. I know he was special to you, too.
I wish you all a very wonderful Christmas season, and that you are able to capture over and over again fond memories of Tony and his love for you, and I pray that you are able to realize deep in your soul that he awaits rejoining with you in the city with streets covered with gold.
:) Maybe we had some help thinking about them at the same time.
What a lovely message, dmd25!
I believe we did. Tony can be our angel now. No matter how I wish he were here. Telling us to slow down on Obambi.
To Tony’s family and friends. May God bless and comfort you, especially during this Christmas Holiday season.
My uncle has cancer and this may be his last Christmas with us.
God bless the family of Tony Snow.
