A source said today that Gov. Rod Blagojevich was taken into federal custody at his North Side home this morning. The U.S. attorney's office would not confirm the information, and a spokesman for the governor did not immediately return a phone call for comment.

Stupid Blago making me agree with Dick Durbin!! Now I'm really ticked!
I stand corrected....$4500 bond...(that’s still piddling)
So Durbin just happens to remember that it took ‘12 days’ for Blago to call him back? That means one thing....Durbin has been checking his phone records to see if maybe he has been taped by Fitzmas.....LMAO!!
And as a St. Louisan, I have always resented the the name of East St. Louis. Chicago South would be more appropriate.
For those that don’t know:
East St. Louis is in ILLINOIS, NOT MISSOURI. It has absolutely NO connection to St. Louis.
Nice catch! The conspiratorial mind knows no bounds!
Not twue. There are plenty of bridges that connect them, one’s an interstate highway.
I am so sorry about your relatives. They should move.
Yes, and we are connected to Alpha Centauri via interstellar space.
LOL...I had an ex CIA guy tell me once that I should join up because of the way my mind works.
Ahem! The Poplar Street Bridge:
“interstellar space”
That’s what I calls it when Mrs. Yokel grabs a Q-tip, cleaning “interstellar space”
That makes perfect sense.
I notice that an attempt to get the website for the Lt Governor of Illinois gets the following message, “Visitors, we are sorry, however, this site is experiencing difficulties at this time. Please return later.”
I wish Sherman Skolnick was around to see this. He could probably fill in the blanks.
Economically and politically it is an entity of the disaster that is Illinois, not Missouri.
If you want to use the roadway analogy, Hooterville is connected to Manhattan.
Candidate #2.

Sen. Madigan ?

TIPSVILLE . . .
The latest from Blagoville: Is Gov. Rod Blagojevich toying with tossing Barack Obama s U.S. Senate seat to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan , who wants Blagos job?
- Its his pick . . . and it would get rid of a rival.
- It may endear him to powerful House Speaker Mike Madigan , Lisa s dad, who is Blagos political foe.
- It would enable Gov. Blago to choose a new Illinois attorney general.
- Hmmm: Even though this sounds like looneyville . . . stay tuned.

“I am so sorry about your relatives. They should move.”
Indeed, several have. Some to Texas, some to Colorado, some to Arizona, some to Missouri, and some to England. The tragedy is that most of the relatives live or lived in a relatively corruption free area of Illinois. But they have had to endure the terrible mismanagement brought about by the voters in other areas of the state.
“So Durbin just happens to remember that it took 12 days for Blago to call him back? That means one thing....Durbin has been checking his phone records to see if maybe he has been taped by Fitzmas.....LMAO!!”
I’m thinking if 0 was tipped off, so was Rahm and Lil’ Dickie.
Another Freeper just posted this little hint from the actual indictment:
This affidavit does not include all calls dealing with the corrupt efforts of ROD BLAGOJEVICH, JOHN HARRIS, and others to misuse the power of ROD BLAGOJEVICH to appoint a United States Senator for the personal gain of ROD BLAGOJEVICH and his family, nor does this affidavit set forth other calls where ROD BLAGOJEVICH and others discussed a possible appointment to the Senate seat
hmmmmmm......there are some democrats sweating bullets today.....lol. Obama asked questions today while with Al Gore. He has no comment at this time....lol. Fox running the tape now.
I have to run out for a bit, could you please keep me pinged if you hear anything big? I’ll catch up with you guys later today!
