Ahem! The Poplar Street Bridge:
And as a St. Louisan, I have always resented the the name of East St. Louis. Chicago South would be more appropriate.
For those that don’t know:
East St. Louis is in ILLINOIS, NOT MISSOURI. It has absolutely NO connection to St. Louis.
Not twue. There are plenty of bridges that connect them, one’s an interstate highway.

I notice that an attempt to get the website for the Lt Governor of Illinois gets the following message, “Visitors, we are sorry, however, this site is experiencing difficulties at this time. Please return later.”
