That toll booth is my #1 reason for Jobovich to go down.
Practically get into an accident trying to get over in order to be shaken down by the state! Worse design ever!
What happened to getting rid of those damn things anyway?
Oh Happy Day! Woohoo!

Blagojevich sounds pretty unhinged at this point. He sounds as though he's trying to block everything out. I suspect that's been part of his character all along.

the possibility that the process of choosing a Senate successor to President-elect Barack Obama could be tainted by pay-to-play politics..... Like this would be a surprise to Illinois residents, be they 'rat or Rep.

Are there any Illinois politicians who arent either completely corrupt or completely incompetent?Sure, I know three offhand who represent me. Not all politicians from Illinois are corrupt. It's the ones who are influenced by the Chicago/Cook County corruption who are the bad eggs. Unfortunately, they hold sway over Illinois.

Drudge Link to Tribune Exclusive:
"I don't believe there's any cloud that hangs over me. I think there's nothing but sunshine hanging over me," the governor said. Blagojevich made the remarks at a Monday morning visit to laid-off workers staging a sit-in at the Republic Windows & Doors plant on Goose Island.

This is a Patrick Fitzgerald case. I guess he isn’t the liberal saviour after all.
To: arkady_renko
Yeah, those tapes have to be pretty incriminating. Blago is living in a dream world right now. His remarks show it. He’s trying to block everything out as if this is a bad dream (well, for his it is...).
I’m not as much shocked as surprised it has happened this quickly. Only because the government is usually ponderous in such things.
