In the strongest indication yet that African leaders are finally turning their backs on Robert Mugabe and his murderous regime, Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Thursday said it was time for African governments to oust the ageing dictator.

Mugabe's steel grip on power has seen the once prosperous country deteriorate into chaos. Zimbabwe's economy and social systems have collapsed, and it is becoming daily more clear that serious and immediate intervention is needed to spare thousands more lives in a country ravaged by crises.

Maybe Obama can get some bail out for his African brothers too? I mean seems like everyone that supports him with influence and cash i.e., UAW etc need help with something or other.

Interesting to watch how Obama responds to these coming African Crisis'.

He already had planned an 850 billion dollar aid package for Africa before his election.

What I find interesting is the timing of this. Mugabe's been destroying Africa for years and NOW they want something done?

Of course, the scary part of this is how many American lives will be required to payback for Obama’s African connections.

Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Thursday said it was time for African governments to oust the aging dictator.

Yeah Odinga has recognized that Mugabe is a rank amateur, time to show him how a 'pro' conducts genocide.

Mark my words.

africa needs to be left to burn on its own, if you thought the middle east was complicated to intervene in with its tribal politics, africa is infinitly worse.

Oh Puleeze!
Is Odinga not the same guy that perpetrated mob violence and kilings after the last ecetions in Kenya, leading to hundreds slaughtered?
How can a murderous regime in one country, stop a murderous regime elsewhere?

What’s his second recommendation? Send Barry home to Kenya?

Having a US president involved with the ME would have been bad, but having one involved with African politics is infinitely worse. I fear we are going to be dragged into the hell-hole that is Africa. I hope Obama isn’t planning on sending US troops there.

And he says that he is BO’s cousin.

(Odinga’s father and Obama Sr.’s father’s mothers were sisters)

We are about to see why Africa is called the Dark Continent. It is not color of skin, but darkness of heart.

If memory serves, it was the first day after they changed from "Rhodesia". From then on it was all downhill :-)

Obama has been wanting to invade Africa since day one of his Presidency... He intends to start needless war and agression on the Continent. Its payback time for all concerned...

Yes, the TIMING.
It’s just one of a hundred well-timed “public statements”,
or should I say “Publicized statements”, or even “events”, like the economic meltdown. Looks like his cousin Odinga, so ready to turn Kenya into another Rwanda when he lost the election, is setting up a prime situation for Obama
to meddle further into the bloody African killing grounds.
If this plays out the way I think, it will prove Obama is so far over his head in his unhinged worldview that chaos
and instability we can’t even imagine now is about to come over the horizOn. Not wanting to be an alarmist, but.....
