If I’m not mistaken, the next stop is taking back the Governor’s Mansion in VA.
Most excellent news :)
Good news....Now Willie can clean out his freezer in peace !......:o)
2nd could not have happened without Miss Katrina
As a former New Orleanian, I gotta say, Yay! Hurrah!
Wait for it. Someone will undoubtedly cry racism.
In upsets, Republicans win both Districts 2 & 4Obama remorse already?
Just when you start to lose complete faith in voters, they up and do the right thing. Maybe there is hope after all.
I had to drive by Jefferson’s election (loss) party and honk my horn at them about ten times before a cop started walking over to my car and I took off.
Louisiana voters have now elected the first people of Vietnamese and Indian descent to major elected office in the U.S.
A couple of hours ago, Jefferson was announced the winner on the radio; this is much better news!
For a totally biased downplay of the first Vietnamese-American to become a U.S. Representative, http://www.nola.com/news/index.ssf/2008/12/stephanie_grace_story_is_loser.html
The author is the loser in that story.
Great news!!!
The republicans are 3 for 3 since Obama won.
I bet Pelosi is going to have a CAO ...
Congrats to Mr. Cao, however Republicans should realize that this is a one-termer, no doubt about it. Similar to Nick Lampson in TX-22, there is no way that a GOP congressman can hang on to this seat. In 2010, it will go back to the Dems. However, this is not to take away the great accomplishment of Cao. Congrats to the new Rep congressman from LA-02. It will be nice to have him for 1.5 years, I guess.
John Fleming should hold this for as long as he wants. Screw you Carmouche. He’ll probably sue and ask for recount after recount after recount until he wins. Get f**ked d-bag. You lost!!
So Cold Cash Jefferson goes down in defeat.
Looks as if the blacks didn't much turn up to vote like in the Nov 4th election.
