CHICAGO (AP) -- Workers laid off from their jobs at a Chicago factory have occupied the building and are demanding assurances they'll get severance and vacation pay that they say they are owed.

The economic down turn, is not just Detroit's problem. A loan to the Big 3, is just socialism, but the banks can get billions to party with. US made cars going to Japan face more taxes in Japan, than Japanese cars coming here, but that too is the fault of the auto makers. Funny how the whole economy is related.

Union members thrive on hostility between management and workers but they always seem to think they know how to run the company better than management - without wanting to take the risk of actually becoming management. Put yer money where your mouth is. If you want to make management decisions, go into management.
