A group of Washington residents have filed a lawsuit with the state Supreme Court asking the state's votes for President-Elect Barack Obama be set aside.
James E. Broe, of King County, and 12 others claim Obama never established that he is a natural-born American citizen as required by the Constitution, and that Obama ran under a false name.
A similar suit before the election was dismissed in King County.
Obama is set to receive the state's 11 electoral votes when the Electoral College delegates meet in Olympia on Dec. 15.
Similar lawsuits have been filed in other states.
Dave Ammons, spokesman for Secretary of State Sam Reed's office, said in an e-mail to the Herald that the state's position is that Reed is not required and does not have the authority to investigate the qualifications of candidates for president and vice president.

That just shows that Sean does not know about the case at all! It DOES NOT MATTER WHERE OBAMA WAS BORN! Obama’s father was NOT a US citizen and that means Obama is not a “natural born” citizen. Obama is a citizen if he was born in Hawaii, but he is NOT a “natural born” citizen no matter where he was born because HIS FATHER WAS NOT A US CITIZEN.
So here is an interesting proposal for the next election(s), we create a non-profit group whose purpose is to ensure properly vetted candidates. Each primary candidate is asked to submit documentation for verification.
Candidates will be listed via the web and their minimal qualifications tracked as it is verified.
To keep things legit, the requirements would be those as dictated by Constitutional, Federal and State Law.
And good for Mr. Broe and group! Every little bit helps.

You know, in retrospect I’m glad no one from the GOP or talk show radio has jumped on this. If they had done so all we would have heard for the past few weeks is tin foil hat conspiracy theories. MSM would have brought out the cases just so they could dump on us.
Now as it turns out, the MSM will be the ones that bring this to everyone’s attention. Sure they are going to try and twist the story, brush it under the rug, etc. But pretty soon it’s going to be like taking a 3” hose down to a 1/2’ hose - they are not going to be able to hold back on this story.
So we possibly have a win / win situation: a) Obama gets exposed for the fraud that he is, and b) the MSM gets to be the ones that break this “horrible” news about Obama not being qualified. We might be able to take both of them out at the same time.
I don't know what his citizenship status is. But, the citizens need a full and complete answer. Not a bureaucratic run-around.
Do you suppose the writers of our Constitution could not imagine any one would not be willing and proud to show his/her proof of citizenship? Perhaps they would have written the Consitution differently if they had imagined anyone would lie about their citizenship or refuse to prove their citizenship.
If nothing else, maybe this case will define who is supposed to vet a presidential candidate. Our daughter was the campaign manager for a local sheriff's candidate, and she said he had to provide birth certificate, proof of residency, income tax return, and other documents that would verify he is qualified to run for sheriff. A county's sheriff is important, but the President of the United States trumps that by a large margin. As far as we know, Obama has not provided anything like that.
There is evidence available, for what it may be worth, that he was not born in the Panama Canal Zone..

The MSM needs to be shown to be what they are, which is nothing more than Socialists who join both Obama and McCain for ignoring this Constitutional crisis! Yes, I believe the RNC and McCain were silent because they knew from the beginning that McCain did not meet the Constitutional requirements to hold the office of President either!
This is why Obama is fighting so hard to keep his real birth certificate private
He always opens his opponents divorce records, also his stooges opened Joe the Plumber's etc but keeps his locked tight
Open 0bama's birth certificate and if it is fishy then people will be asking about the other records he keeps hidden
So far Obama is riding high
But once he starts failing, people are going to ask for all these records because they will want to know more about this mystery man

We now have “other”, and the Constitution is now not adequate for the laws necessary to keep the “other” from doing nefarious things.
Who, or what office were these documents demanded by and recieved?

Doesn't matter. Whether Obama’s parents married or not Obama’s father was a Kenyan and British subject at the time of Obama’s birth. His father not being a US citizen means Obama is not a “natural born” citizen, but he is a US citizen IF he was born in Hawaii.

Why Obama has done this is most likely because he may very well have been born in Kenya. Who knows. But Obama figured he could slip by being born in Hawaii as that would mean he was born on US soil. However that is NOT ENOUGH. His father not being a US citizen is Obama’s PROBLEM!

So where is the action from FR’s members? I would have to believe that even thoughs who believe that this is “tinfoil” territory are still secretely keeping abreast of the discussion, and would like to see something concrete.
I would have to imagine that FR could put a few more names on an action than 12.

For Michael Medved and whoever else says air travel wasn’t easy in 1961....the first Boeing 707 flight took place in October 1957, and by 1961 Boeing and Douglas jets had completely supplanted prop on transcontinental flights especially.
I have Mark Larson’s show on online, as he is from 5-9 P or 8-12 E. Was listening on my local radio station and they only cover two hours of his show. So now the call streaner asked me to call back at 10:10 Eastern to talk to Mark about Leo’s case.
