An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.
Robert L. Schulz, 69, chairman of We The People Foundation, took out ads Monday and Wednesday to raise questions about whether Obama's Hawaii certificate of live birth is authentic.
The ads echo accusations circulated online by some Obama opponents before the election. Cases challenging Obama's citizenship have been tossed out of local courts in several states, and Hawaiian officials have vouched for the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate, which is locked in a state vault. The Obama campaign likewise has always dismissed the accusations.
Nevertheless, some critics remain dubious.

Front page of Chicago Tribune - ping!
The more people that hear the allegations and see the non-response, the more will ask that question.
Yes, that is sort of why, as irked as I get by the propoganda that is spewing from MSM and the lies involved in this, I am at least happy they are mentioning it.
So if and when it ever sees the light of day at the SCOTUS, people will realize it has been issue for a while.
Anybody got a link to the add?
I agree.
Perhaps too, all those new eyes looking at the COLB will realize that something is just not right.
$1 million to avoid producing the vault birth certificate...
$10 to release it.
NOTICE how the FIRST PAPER to cover this seriously (well, seriously covering for Obama to be more precise) is HIS HOMETOWN PAPER!!
Can you say “collusion”? The hometown paper was clearly chosen to be the first to break the silence with pro-Obama defense pieces.

To think that we have reached the point where we have to have paid ads to speak the truth.
1. Husein Obama was not born on U.S. soil. He was born in Kenya, to U.S. citizen mother and foreign father. His birth was only registered in Hawaii.
2. Acccording to the U.S. law valid at that time, children born abroad to U.S. citizen aged 21 and over become U.S. citizens. At the time of Husein's birth, his mother was under 21.
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA'S UPBRINGING

WHY do they have to respond to the allegations? Are they on Obama’s payroll? Theoretical question. UNLESS they had many DailyKos types calling/emailing them to complain about allowing the ad...
The ad first ran on page 21 on Monday. I think Chicago Tribune must have been inundated with questions in order for them to put this story on the front page.
For now, it’s better than nothing.
When add this image to the talking points being spewed out, the Obama voters will believe it to an evil republican witch hunt.
Eventually, people like Rush MAY pick it up. The Republican/Conservative elites have been strangely silent about the whole issue.
