Kory Rosacrans, staff manager for Costco replied, "I guess the answer would be No."

My answer is "no" regarding shopping at Costco this Christmas season or ever.

How do you feel about ‘Giving Trees’?

Not a surprise; they’re generally also big contributors to the DNC.

Buh bye Costco.

I am sticking to Walmart and Target.

Besides, who the heck needs those wasteful stale giant commercial food jars clogging up the refrigerator? Where is the savings in that?

Costco has every right, as a private firm, to choose such a policy.

And customers have every right to decide where they wish to spend their money.

Personally, I’m not offended by the “no-Christmas” policy, but I sympathize with those who are. If they decide to shop elsewhere for this reason, they should let Costco know why they made this choice.

I suppose then people should buy “holiday” gifts (whenever that might be) from Costco and Christmas gifts somewhere else since Costco doesn’t have any of those...

I know people of different faiths or atheists who are more offended by people thinking being wished a merry christmas would offend them than being wished a merry christmas ever would.

That’s a losing marketing strategy. Costco, huh?

I think you’re being overly sensitive. They sell “Christmas” trees, “Christmas” ornaments, nativity sets, wrapping paper that says “Merry Christmas”. They do try to avoid the word Christmas in their advertising but their customer base is diverse. They aren’t hurting for customers. Your personal boycott is not going to have much effect.

Costco has 520 stores nationwide. But you will not find "Christmas" in a single store.

Oh, what a shame. I guess if one wants to buy CHRISTMAS gifts, and CHRISTMAS trees, and CHRISTMAS decorations, and all other assorted CHRISTMAS paraphernalia, one will have to go somewhere else other than COSTCO, because they dont sell such things.

My company is using the term: "Winter Event". We're having pot-luck lunches on certain days to celebrate the "Winter Event".

I asked one of the bosses: "What "Winter Event" are we celebrating? We're in Florida so it can't be snow."

She just stood there with a blank expression and didn't answer the question.

Here is a great video concerning the lack of “Christmas” in some of the “holiday” advertising......

“costco says no to Christmas...”

and there are many lovers of Christman who will say no to costco. (this one included.)

IMHO

Costco is now NoGo for me.
The only way we can return America to its roots and what it was is to do so with the dollar bill.
So Costco thinks they are more atheists and muslims in America then Christians. Maybe they should find out the hard way. The bottom line on the balance sheet.

I will NEVER spend a penny with these atheistic ba$turds... I'd bet they will soon have ramadan sales. If they are anti-Christ, they are anti-American... an evil company to the core. I wipe the dust of their store from the soles of my feet and I will NOT look back.

My local Walmart has a big sign in its entrance... “MERRY CHRISTMAS”... Go Walmart!

I understand the frustration; however I choose to use a different tact. I spend my time in the checkout line discussing the fact that not calling it Christmas doesn’t make it not Christmas. This way I get to share the season with those around me who might not otherwise know about the policy. I usually get 3 to 4 customers, the cashier and the loader if there is one.

The cashier says “Thanks for shopping at Costco”, I say “I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas” very loudly so the people in the checkout lines around me can hear and as I walk away I mention that “Christ is the reason for the season”.

Remember - ignorant people always will believe what they believe.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

Our company 'Holiday" party is next week. The E-mail said we should dress in our best "Holiday" attire.

Me and a few guys are talking about going as a "Live Nativity".

Merry Xmas!

I promise to buy every “holiday” gift I intend to buy from Costco, but since we celebrate Christmas at my house and since they don’t have any Christmas gifts or Christmas decorations, I suppose I will have to shop elsewhere for those items.
