"Today it's difficult to find a gay organization that has not enjoyed the Cabinet's largesse. In 2007, for example, Stryker's Arcus Foundation gave away $11.8 million as part of its Gay and Lesbian Program. The money reached both big-name groups like the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (which got half a million dollars) and little organizations like the Actors Theatre Co. of Grand Rapids, Mich., which got $25,000 to produce a play called Seven Passages: The Story of Gay Christians.
The web of connections among the Cabinet members is complex. All the other members have donated the maximum amount allowed to Ketner's congressional campaign. Gill, Lewis and Stryker employ political advisers respectively, Denver attorney Ted Trimpa; Paul Yandura, who worked in the Clinton White House's political-affairs office; and Lisa Turner, a former political director for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee who regularly speak with one another and with others who work for Cabinet members. Wow. They are coming right out and naming names.
a play called Seven Passages: The Story of Gay Christians.
Formerly known as and defined in the Bible as sinners.
Very interesting article! I’m surprised it was in Time.
The author seems puzzled by the fact that these progressivists or leftists are wealthy, and asks where the old class warfare aspect of the “gay movement” has gone. But the fact is, class warfare always comes from the well-off and is something they plant and then stimulate among the less well-off to achieve their goal, which is that of total control of society.
I suppose the only thing we can hope is that the gay/leftist alliance and the Muslim/leftist alliance will get into a brawl and end up destroying each other before they destroy the rest of us.
I guess Gay Mafia hitmen snap bath towels at their victims
“Formerly known as and defined in the Bible as sinners”
Everyone but Jesus fits that bill!

I wish people would stop calling these thugs the “gay mafaia”-its a real insult to the mafia.
True, but the funerals are simply fabulous!
(chuckle)
I’m surprised too, that this was in a “mainstream” publication such as Time. This does not paint a flattering picture of homosexual rights activists. It makes them sound like mere thugs, not people who are allegedly fighting for their “equal” rights. It makes it sound as if they plant gay propaganda wherever they can, by whatever means necessary, not that they are fighting for any high principles.
The Story of Gay Christmas.......these sodomites will surely burn in Hell for all of eternity.
a lot liza minelli and broadway show tunes I bet.
What's even more amazing is that this thread has been up a full hour, but we've yet to see a single attack on us conservative Christian Freepers from the (L/l)ibertarian-leaning Freepers, telling us how we're to blame for losing the election because the homosexual agenda issue is a losing issue for the GOP, that we're narrow-minded bigoted hypocritical single-issue voters, that Sarah lost us the election because she doesn't support homosexual "marriage," etc etc etc.
Perhaps it's too early, and they're still sleeping in?
I think it’s interesting that most of the people running this ‘Cabinet’ did nothing to earn the money they have, and are throwing around. They are heirs to family fortunes. Only two who were mentioned actually created their own fortunes, and those were in the area of technology. It kinda tracks with foundations set up by wealthy men in the past, Ford, Rockefeller, etc. and the kinds of issues they support, like Population growth, Abortion rights, etc.
Surprised Time printed this.
Someone must have pissed off someone important at Time magazine.
Yet another reason to keep not buying Hormel foods.
Feel free to ping me to relevant articles as I am helping (a little) with the ping lists.
I will be a-pinging later today.
