THE terror group that ruthlessly struck at Mumbai's heart has demanded an end to persecution of Muslims and the release of militants from prison.
The previously unknown group that claimed responsibility for the attacks across Mumbai has added to the growing belief that India is confronting a home-grown Islamic militancy.
Attacks over the last year have been claimed by groups with names stressing their local origins.
Deccan Mujahedeen, which said it was responsible for the Mumbai assault on Wednesday night, takes its title from the Deccan plateau that covers much of south India.
The outfit sent emails to local media saying it carried out the attacks.
One of the gunmen holed up in the Trident hotel told the India TV channel by phone on Thursday that the little-known terror outfit wanted an end to the persecution of Indian Muslims and the release of all fellow Islamic militants detained in India.
"Muslims in India should not be persecuted. We love this as our country but when our mothers and sisters were being killed, where was everybody?" he said from inside the hotel, which was surrounded by army commandos.
A similarly shadowy group calling itself the Indian Mujahedeen claimed responsibility for serial blasts in Delhi in September, which killed 20 people, and bombings in the western city of Ahmedabad in July when 45 died.
Another group, the Islamic Security Force-Indian Mujahedeen, said it was behind explosions last month in India's north-east state of Assam that killed 80.
It is unclear whether the various groups are connected, but retired senior security official B Raman has said their chosen names were a "bid to Indianise" the Islamic militant movement.

It's high time these savages were forcibly ejected from western societies. Their barbaric political philosophy which is masquerading as a religion is wholly incompatible with the West.

Yes and witnesses and pix show them as more fair skinned than Deccan plateau natives and witnesssses identified them speaking Urdu. A language heard far more in the northwest in the Stans

As soon as the last of them assumes room temperature (which btw is an eighth of a degree higher because of global warming), the persecution will stop.
CNN will obey. Yesterday they danced all around the identity of the murderous attackers. Generic ‘terrorist’ (and alleged’, to boot. CNN couldn’t grovel fast enough), was the favorite term for the day. Finally an FBI man they were interviewing got so mad he snapped that the ‘alleged’ terrorists were Muslims. Get a clue, since they hunted Jews, Brits and Americans.
So you murder innocent people to protest the murder of innocent people.

The world, and particularly the US, will not stand by indefinitely as the number and barbarity of the jihad-crimes grow. At least within the American psyche there exists a fine line between being outraged and being enraged. An enraged American population is a frightening thing. No force on this earth or below it can stand against it as the tyrants and empires of the 20th century can attest.
Whether it is major terrorist attack in this country, the destruction of a population center in Israel or the cumulative effects of Mumbai-like attacks around the planet there will come a point at which the American culture will cry “Enough!”.
At what point will the American political consensus call for an eradication of Islam? Can this even be done? Would this require a purging or holocaust of the millions who preach and support jihad or would it take something more gentle and compassionate like 100 years of isolation and reeducation?
Then apply it where Sharia law is in effect.

While we have appeasing fools as so-called “leaders” who want to sell us this phony notion of a “religion of peace”, there isn’t the slightest hope of slowing them down, much less defeating them. Thank you, George Bush, so much.
