I don’t think he’s going to pardon them. I think he is firmly on “the other side” on that issue.

He signed the pardons, but someone removed them from the scene.

I don’t think the he will pardon Campean and Ramos, but I hope I’m wrong. If he does, it will be an out the door pardon ala Klintoon / Rich............

President Bush is on the wrong side of the fence on this issue. I don’t believe the pardon will happen. Hope I’m wrong.

I was really shocked he didnt pardon these men. I guess it was more important to pardon druggies and rappers. But men who serve their country must be kept behind bars.

This just convinces me more that we were duped by W. He’s a bigger rino than his dad.

It’s very unlikely that our pro-illegal alien president will pardon the border agents. If it were on InTrade, the price would be about 5.0 (i.e., 5% likely).

Bush is unlikely to use the pardon on anyone who is still serving their sentence.

Typically, Presidents use their pardon power to clean the record of someone who committed a crime long ago, served their time, shown remorse for their actions and has subsequently turned their life around.

I think the guys should have been pardoned but they made a bigger screwup by trying to cover up their deeds.

What I had "heard" some talk of is "commutation of sentence" which is NOT the same thing as a Pardon!!!

Commutation of sentence to time served, acknowledges the person is a convicted felon but grants early release. Pardon, actually forgives the "crime" which we all are aware is a political sentence inspired by the "open borders" crowd (one might also state as "One World Order."

Bush desperately needs to do this but as he is never swayed by public opinion, someone needs to bring it to his attention, that the "grace of God" should be extended to these poor guys just as he has stood by our troops on the battlefield (sort of.)

Bush only appears to be sympathetic to illegal aliens for choosing not to live in their own countries and treat them all as "travelers among us."

Do you need any more evidence that GWB is a useless dumba**?

Not going to happen. Bush is pro open-borders. Sure they’ll do a token raid every now and then to feed the restless natives but they won’t do anything substantive to deal with the problem.

There’s some big drug money involved here and there, I suspect.

And here he exits, ladies and gentlemen!

Those of us who gave him our campaign contributions, volunteered our time, campaigned for him, and voted for him.

The Golden Legacy of GW Bush just shines!

We have given "The Banks" (whoever they are) about a Trillion (do you all know how much a Trillion is?) dollars because his Treasury Secretary said we had to do it "Right Now!"

Because of his Greatness, we have "bailed out" the Retirement Fund known as the US auto industry (which according to Mark Steyn - GM alone has 96,000 thousand workers but provide health benefits to about a million).

In total, the number of UAW retirees approaches 3 million.

This isn't an "industry." It is a Ponzi Scheme.

I love the slap in the face.

Families tearfully put hope in clemency during last days

Monica Ramos embraces her husband, former U.S. Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos, two days before he was sentenced to 11 years in prison (Courtesy El Paso Times)

And to finish, GW Bush lets two Border Agents who did their job rot (and be assaulted - as one of them was and the defenders cannot deny it) in prison.

Oh....and by the way....the Drug Smuggler (Osvaldo Aldrete Dávila) they shot at is now in prison....but we (the taxpayers) paid his family millions of dollars.

Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila Sentenced

Go ahead. Dispute it? These are all facts.

Shame on GW Bush. Go back to Texas and fish. You let us all down.
